Haha, well part of the problem is how difficult it is to replace them if there is something wrong. Not like you can go to the local shop and exchange unless you’re from Japan. Most of these e-trailers won’t do much to help you. AJ is the best IMO but still a PITA and expensive to do while you wait for a refund for shipping.

A million times better than MP-44. That shiz was ridiculous. Thank God for AJ. I waited for an exchange cuz of the knees only to get one with a backpack issue. Had to Frankenstein it for the perfect bot. I haven’t seen this as a mass issue for Max. Anyone here get bum shoulders on him?

My pleasure! All kidding aside, I’d rather help out the community when I can. I passed on a 2nd Max when I posted that to give others a chance that missed it on PO night. It all worked out because I was able to snag from AJ direct at release. Things come full circle in life often times. It’s a good crew here. Now, those of us who missed MSRP for 1S can be on the hunt soon! It’s a game for me. I paid 1st wave markup at NY as a safety net but still keeping hope alive that I can snag one at release though odds are against us!

I was actually the one to post that. Glad it worked out for ya! Unfortunately, it seemed to have bit me for announcing it here cuz on PO night his stock was quickly gone for 1S and I missed out on that one! Haha

If you're referring to SDFM Roy, then that probably would be the case. You'll see the Hikaru SDFM 1S before Roy. It would make a ton of sense to get Kaki done next in that line. But I wouldn't be surprised if the next DYRL is Roy 1S with the Strike Parts being released. It would be a strong finish for the 35th anniversary if they announced and did POs before the end of year, but even if not, Roy makes sense to me in the next DYRL release.

It’s not uncommon for it to take quite awhile for 3rd party to ship. Even direct from AJ took 3 days to actually be charged and shipped last week. I think it took about a week for a VF-31 Valk I ordered there 3rd part/fulfilled by AJ to charge and ship. Most of you are just hitting a week or close to it.

Yeah....I don't think that will ever happen. HG and Robotech own the licensing for that outside of Japan and already sued Hasbro recently just for appearing like maybe the SDCC GI Joe/Transformers crossover Jetfire looked like the VF-1S. (They lost the suit...but shows HG is trigger happy.) I doubt we'd see the crossover in Japan for Bandai and Hasbro, but it would be a sweet middle finger to HG if they ever did! Though I suppose this has now got off-topic and I digress. DYRL Hikkie VF-1S is the only red VF-1S I need.

They aren’t legit. I decided to test them out back in Jan for the DX 1J. They had MSRP rates. Anyway they had JapanPost tracking for like two weeks that never populated actually in JapanPost. I made a case with PP and they never responded. PP refunded me and took it from there.

That is just referring to the shipping price. It isn't referring to product availability. And the shipping populates through the checkout process which is 1,600 Yen for Global Ship.

My AJ is in route for delivery today as well! They are crazy good and fast. A bit of a PITA if you have to return items, but even then they are solid about it. I wish I could purchase all of my items this way.
