Yeah my first PO experience was the VF-1A. and it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. Time for a few hours sleep to attempt this again.

They had one yesterday for 6k. But I'm sure that box was a little more dinged then the 8k versions.

Keep an eye on Mandrake. They have already had a few sets between 55.00-75.00 or so.

Here we ago again. Do I sleep early and set the alarm for about 30 minutes to time, or just accept the fact that scalpers will inundate the websites and purchase 90% of them? Looking at the VF-1A, I'm seeing the price go down for those selling thier pre-orders. But I dont know how reliable the sources would be.

Also, Cant recall who, but I was given Madrake as place to shop if I'm okay with a few dings on the boxes. Which I am. Admittedly, they will get thousands from me I feel.

Thx @rdrunner, I'm missing a couple HMRs. But now have the Delta line completed until the VF-31E release. I didn't think I would get into the Frontier Valks....But the RVF-25 started that line. What a great addiction!. Cant wsit to dress the HMRs in the OWL armor. Loved that look since I first saw the image posted over a decade ago here on MW from a fan made model.

It's been 2 months since I added anything. Really want to get a 3D printer and work on making panels for the detolfs to line with appropriate themes for these. If anyone has any recommendations on not to expensive 3D printer(s) and possible some scenes that come to mind. I'll have to get the measurements for the wall panels from the Ikea site. Maybe it sounds ambitious but I enjoy modeling. I also want to give a big thank you to the Macross World community for allowing me to enjoy these Valkyries, by selling them.

GAH! Wasn't planning on purchasing any of these as they were not on the top of my "to get list" But after seeing them on the 1J, I have to say, they do look good on the bird.

I'm noticing here,Mandrake and buyee( shipping hurts the wallet) have a decent recurring flow if VF-1J 1/48.s I'm interested in seeing the VF-1As shortly after release. I'm confident there will be a decent window where you'll be able to pick 1 up for a reasonable, albeit still more then original MSRP.

There's no doubt I'm going to get this Valkyrie. But after the debacle of the last pre-order, coupled with how much I am seeing those VF - 1A now on sale on Buyee for much less than the second go on NY ( which is where i finally got 1@100.00 mark up +shippong), I'm wondering if I want to even bother waking up early for an attempt.

Spaceman, Since I took over a decade off from collecting, what is the difference from the web exclusive other then (from my late to the re-entry perspective) the cost of web exclusives costing a ton? I know after the VF-1A I will never participate in a pre order fiasco again.
