  1. My order off ebay says the 26th, the ones from loopaza say the 30th. It will be sometime in April before I can add the 31a to my "A team"
  2. Please no. A valkyrie is unique enough it doesn't need 4 legs. As far as more thrusters is concerned I would point you towards the Vf-27, yf-29 as a few examples of 4 thruster types. Even the vf-1s with strike parts has technically 4 thrusters. So they are out there. The only thing I like with 4 legs in the macross series is the anti-an amphibious destroids in macross zero. They look cool as hell.
  3. Yeah what @no3Ljm said 1/100 scale. For the money it should have been a bigger scale.
  4. It has a more retro look to it. "transformers" look maybe? Quite an early valk too i believe?
  5. Nin Nin game still has pre orders for the vf-31s $207.27 + postage
  6. I've never seen the cutlass before, crazy. Like a fixed wing vf/yf-19 isn't it.
  7. Ah yes, the yamato vf-1's had the green super parts. Trying to keep continuity but at the same time not due to the setting and time line.
  8. More poor humor i'm afraid True, my HMR vf-2ss is looks well with the sap parts. I'm surprised they chose green tbh.
  9. @dizman @no3Ljm There is no shortage of cool designs in the anime
  10. For the mecha/aircraft design team info it's here dude https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=902 A valk version would definitely be interesting! I would actually prefer them in 1/60 myself but the only alternative (no pun intended) is the model kits. Seeing as i am crap at painting the alter versions definitely were the overpriced answer. I can't argue there, they definitely do their job of holding the valk well. Just a shame there is no pivot point like the old yamato stands. Yes! Will definitely be getting some yetistands, they look incredible and give you so many options for display.
  11. It looks more like a destroid to me lol The wrist guns are cool though. I don't mind armor on valks but not when it over does it.
  12. Man you guys are critical on the details! lol @Mommar Metal Siren?
  13. @Chronocidal agreed, that bandai stand for the draken is God awful. Would much rather it take up less room and be articulated like the alter one. @XigfridI thought that too. Left a hell of a mark lol
  14. @no3Ljm it sort of does. The wings can be folded either way. Right up for parked or reversed for high speed mode. The canopy/cockpit can be reclined right back too. The super sylph just has hard points and a foldable sensor array. I have yet to "attempt" transforming that draken
  15. I recieved my calibre wings jolly rogers f-14b 1/72 Scale Diecast Model today, and also put my alter mave yukikaze on display. As you can see the mave is loaded to bear and I love how they added an extra stand for the fuel air bomb. Gives it a really dynamic pose. I have the super sylph too, just need to get through the stupid cable ties alter use to secure the model in. They do not want you to get the model out in a hurry!
  16. I'd actually like to see the hero type c/f/j/s in a similar more military style color scheme. A commander type or something.
  17. It's not much but it's something to help with the wait.
  18. That's crazy! More a puzzle than valk then. I'll be sure to keep the patience on standby. I think once one is in battroid mode it will stay as that. It's kind of strangely annoying when a valk looks good in all modes. Means you have to buy two or three just so you can be happy with them on display. Otherwise it would get frustrating to choose which mode to put it in. Plus if it is difficult to transform then that's even worse.
  19. When my sv262 "finally arrives" (NY didn't process it and ship it for a whole week for starters!) i will see what the transformation difficulty is like. I have very little experience in transforming valks, only three to be precise. I will be able to say as a novice "transformer" just how tough it really is compared to the vf-31a i am eagerly awaiting.
  20. I've have only owned two valks till very recently. Yamato was "it" from my experience. I had the 1/72 1st release vf-11b which broke not long after i bought it. That put my off buying more till 2007 when they released the "almighty"SV-51 gamma. That thing was amazing. Sold it, regretted it, bought another. Being new to the forums and being around other liked minded folk (you good/crazy people) has definitely shown me there is so much available these days. Bandai, Arcadia and evolution toys.......ahem has so much to offer it's crazy. Personally i'm panicking and buying everything i missed out on over the years. I'll happily have quiet times! The new Arcadia SV-51 has my name on it and i'm crazy enough to buy the premium too. I live and hope for the day someone makes Feff's Gigamesh power armor in 1/60 with all the detail and cool features that mech has. It deserves to be made IMO. It would look boss next to the evo toys vf-2ss. If i ever bought one....
