Don't forget that other large companies do it as well. I know that Hot Toys does some teasers in the 1/6th display and then it becomes vapourware. There was a mock up of the S.H. Monsterarts Vajria display for the Frontier line up with pics shown and it never made it into production.

It's back to the drawing board for me... I finally got the payment notice for the DX VF-1s Hikaru and got cart jacked as someone has beaten me to it. I did get the order confirmation email though. Lets see if can survive the next round of pre-orders.

It's got to be the Grandparents famous last name and giving that is a dead giveaway that you have to be the same as your elders in one way or another (eventhough that she sucks in piloting). Edit: Chronocidal covered it after I posted my writeup. How about this one instead? We all know that Messer's 1s was made in the HMR lineup, why not upscaled that version into a digi-bash of it to the DX version with the SSP pack?

Given the size of this creature in the Mandalore, Sideshow has listed it actually as "Life Sized", however does it fit with in the confines in this particular range? https://news.toyark.com/2020/01/30/the-mandalorian-the-child-aka-baby-yoda-life-size-figure-by-sideshow-377321 For $350 USD, to be released in August to November of this year and has the shifter knob that the Mandalore has given him. DX Max for ¥20k is a deal. The next DX that you can get in the price range is Messer/Hayate Movie 31f, however its in 1/60 scale not 1/48. I think there are a fair amount of 1/48 Yammies that are also in the range of ¥20k (valk only and maybe a Full Set version as well if they get listed).

I think it was teased however not made yet, however one was made in 1/48 scale as a model kit. The next possible KO valk teased is Hayate's 31j as pics are just shown only.

I have actually flubbed that one. The only valk that I know that might have tripled in value is the DX Vf-31a Karios and it leveled off in price after a supplier sourced more units after that initial release. Still pricy though as you mentioned. I'll just wait for the next valk release from Arcadia and decide from there.

You want a PF YF-19 (Blue Angels?) in your collection @treatment and will everyone else as well? You know that Bandai has done the DX Frontier and M+ YF-19 and if Arcadia does do a PF YF-19, will anyone else (including you) be willing to pay at least triple the amount compared to the non-PF edition? How about a PE VF-11 and many equal to the price of the PF SDF-1? I'm sure that a fair amount of us will be in the same boat (or some of us have to make sacrifices to our mortgage, life insurance, college/university degrees, sell off an organ on the Black Market, ramen diet, etc).
