Cool, thanks for the updated image! I think I'll see how tricky these AMM and PACSWS turn out to be, since it seems 3 ACSWS would be very crowded and the TMM I find just a touch aggressive for my tastes. -

Am I correct in assuming that all the fins on the ACSWS foul if they're used on triple pylons? I might still buy some anyway to trim down, since I've started prepping my missiles and my plan for 12 AMMs per jet suddenly seems a bit fiddly. -
I guess we're moving into the home straight now, the only unannounced VF is the 31E. I'll be kinda sad once I don't have to check this thread every few days!

OMG it comes with the reaction missiles. Sweet, those will be going on Mirage.

It makes a lot of sense to me given how Stampede-y the packs are, eg. SDP-1 doesn't have a G mode because it's intended largely for space combat. Also it seems as though most packs since Frontier follow a more R-type-ish look rather than jet-with-extras. I think I'd prefer if this were more a case of the tail wagging the dog: Bandai had all the molds figured out ahead of time and timed releases for the movie to generate hype.

I really hope they release the 31E sans armour. Kinda defeats the purpose of having an E-W variant just to take the dish off and armour it up, at least in my eyes. The 31S on the other hand, well I need something to wear the armour anyway since I don't have a J or F and I prefer my C in the F packs. I could live with a 31S with bundled armour.

I've gone from "just Mirage and Chuck" to "every VF-31 except the J and F". Really like the Stampede style. This hobby...

So, I finally got round to buying a bottle of Future and I'm getting prepped for this (I haven't built a kit in years). Is the process: - Future - Primer - Sand - Repeat to taste or: - Future - Primer - Repeat to taste - Sand Thanks! -

Same, no movement on my SPs from CDJ. Some remorse there, since I've ordered my 31A with them as well.

Fair warning, since someone else pointed it out to me: there appear to be some differences in the 31A's mould near where the SP missile collar mounts, so the Messer SP on 31A is not a sure thing.

I guess we'll find out next year, though would it really be fair of me to compare my V1 RVF-25 against the 31E? Ah, I was wondering about this too. More time to get my missiles prepped, I guess.

@UN SpacyI think it's the same deal as the SPs, if so CDJ is a go, but not HLJ (as no3ljm pointed out to me the other day). Other peeps have also mentioned NY taking this type of order. So far as the pod goes, I'm almost certain that someone at the animation studio just cleared them to use existing assets instead of modelling up a second pod, and Bandai is just being cartoon accurate since they can't please everyone. I can barely even remember the 31A's actual appearance in the show.
