Huh...I had thought Serenity actually did pretty well in the box office concidering it wasn't a major hollywood blockbuster. Then again, I don't know what the box office totals for the movie were against the other flicks out at the same time that would make it a "poor" boxoffice movie. -RF

I don't really have anything to add...except I LOVE me some SG1 & Atlantis!! Unfortunatly I missed the last few shows of the season for SG1, so I'm waiting for the reruns. -RF

And the stink of it is, whenever I find a blue Nikick on Ebay, it stays at a cheap price for DAYS of the auction, and then just freakin skyrockets in price right at the end. Which I realize is just normal Ebay practices, but it always gets my hopes up lol -RF

Glad to see another Orguss fan around here :-) I've had the original 1/40 Nikick and Orgroid since the 80s, and the rest were slowly added to the collection over the years, some by my brother through friends in Japan, some thru eBay (before it really became evilBay). I find the designs for Orguss more interesting and refreshingly out-of-this-world than just about any other realistic mecha series. Best of all, the toys by Takatoku had a very balanced number of opposing mecha. In fact, the 'bad' Terrans had more walkers than the 'good' Emaan had flyers. I always wondered why TT never did the Zentraedi justice with DX'd toys. 348318[/snapback] Yeah..I LOVE the Orguss mechs and show (still haven't got around to picking it up on DVD though ). I had a small plastic KO version of the Nikick when I was growning up that I got from my Grandparents and not knowing what it was (all I knew it had a cool robot & ship mode). It was YEARS until I happened to stumble upon what that little toy I had was and where it was from. Then, during Ebay's early years, I happened to get a TOTAL MIB Nikick. The toy and box looked brand-spankin new! Then I tried to track down the 'Blue Head' Nikick which is just ni-impossible to find and for a decent price. -RF

My two Tick cels that I aquired recently. -RF

Just picked up two cels from The Tick cartoon. One of the Tick and the other of his sidekick Arthur. And just as a side note...I did end up getting my Mac 7 cel safe and sound -RF

NICE!! With my VF-19 Kai, I had to do some painting of parts because I only have the boot version of it. So I painted the air intakes (on the hips), shoulders, wrists, and ankles gold, and also did the black line detailing where needed as well. -RF

Wait, I thought they only made the boots for the VF-19s? I've never heard of a 17 boot, much less a D version. 327224[/snapback] Yeah...I believe they did make boots of the VF-17's I have a D version that is wakky colors, mostly being silver. It's loose as hell, and the plastic quality is horrible beyond belief! I don't think it was by the same people that did the VF-19's though. I do seem to remember a VF-17 made by that company, but as I recall they're pretty rare to find. -RF

The show was cheese, but it was some good classic American Toku (before Power Rangers came along), and had (at the time) a quite revolutionary interactive toy line built into it. I can remember watching the show w/ my plane every saturday morning and playing along w/ it. Good times....good times. -RF

Just got the package that was SUPOSED to contain my M7 cel today...but instead it was a cel of one of the kids from Gundam Wing. Sent the seller and email, and hopfully he responds pretty quickly. -RF

I wanted to look for transformer ones, like G1 n stuff, but they're pretty hard to find. 324124[/snapback] Yeah original G1 cels are just really hard to come by, and no matter the 'bot they are VERY expensive! Ususally though there is ALWAYS cels from Beast Wars II & Neo on ebay..and well, if that's as close to G1 that I'm going to get...so be it. EXACTLY!! Not to mention that they just look DAMN cool hanging on the wall as artwork. -RF

I don't think it does either...but as I recall the wings on the Bandai Blazer were different than the Fire Valk, and on the Blazer boot it's the same mold as the Fire. So I guess it's a VF-19F in my own twisted universe -RF

Just so I can feel like I'm adding something...here's a shitty custom I did of a VT-1 from a Yamato VF-1A. Used model parts and magnets for the Fast Packs. I posted this years ago on the earlier version of this board...so some people might remember it. Jet... Gerwalk... Batteroid... Hmmm...never did get around to replacing the 1A head -RF

This is what I did a few years ago, w/ an extra KO Blazer Valk that I had. Pretty much repainted the ship and took off the 4 head lazers to make the VF-19F...although truthfully the F should have 2 head lazers and not none lol Jet... Gerwalk... Batteriod... Yeah the paint job kinda sucks, but I was happy w/ it -RF
