  1. If you like SD here is an image I saved off Yahoo Japan years ago... I don't know what book this is out of but its one of my favorite Maspeada SD images. Carl
  2. And there is a set up on Yahoo Japan right now. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n60572719 Don't see these too often, Carl
  3. This thread *R*E*A*L*L*Y* needs some pictures. Hint.... Carl
  4. Any pictures of this weapon set available? I can't get any of the links of the first 2 pages of this thread to work. Thanks, Carl
  5. It looks like Tomica is coming out with a Mach 5 for the movie: Any of our resident Japanese readers able to tell me what this says about it? Thanks, Carl
  6. Hello, I was looking for some glass display case options and came across this thread. This little blog also has a nice review of the Ikea’s Detolf Glass Display Case. http://www.originalprop.com/blog/?p=40 It also mentioned the lockable Biby Glass Display Case. http://www.originalprop.com/blog/?p=552 And I really like the lockable part. Are there any other popular options? Ideally I'd like something a little bigger (mostly in width) but not too much more expensive. Buying 3 and sitting them side by side as kiririth has shown above looks very nice but its not quite as flexible as a single unit would be. The vertical panes of glass between the units keep long items from being laid down. So to me a single unit 3x as wide at 3x the cost would be a better deal and the cost of materials should be cheaper as less glass is needed but I don't see any products out there that fit that bill. Thanks, Carl
  7. I remember playing a cooperative multiplayer space shotter in a Dave & Busters in Houston TX in the late 90's. The hardware the game was played with looked exactly like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWX2NnYgxDQ Yet I can't recall the name of the game and I'm not having any luck finding it with google. Up to 6 or 7 people could play. Each player controlled a turret on the same space ship and the ship was flying through space on more or less a fixed course that wasn’t controlled by the players. The players simply had to shoot all the bad guys that were shooting at the player’s ship before their ship was destroyed. Could someone please point me in the right direction? I think this may have been the first game that utilized this type of hardware that took up most of a room. Thanks, Carl
  8. I'm pretty sure some were at the last Wonder Fest as I've seen one of each on Yahoo Japan already. http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w21461920 http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e78196171 However I wouldn't be surprised to see more in August. Carl P.S. I've edited this post to included the 2 pictures used at the above 2 auctions.
  9. Doh!!! I guess I was so close to the forest I hadn't seen the trees. Carl
  10. Seconded... and could you post a picture of the cover of this book too? Do you know if its still available? Thanks, Carl

  12. Too late... I already asked. Carl
  13. Nice... thanks for digging those up. Yes, that is mine. I haven't finished mine but I have seen pictures of this kit completed. I'll see if I can dig them up, it was several years ago though so don't hold your breath. Nice!!! May I ask where you found that? Thanks, Carl
  14. Yes... The only place you might find an original is on Yahoo Japan, however I think this kit has been recast a time or two by others. Carl
  15. Are you talking about the Gakken toy? If Toynami sold any prototypes on eBay I sure didn't see them. Curious... Carl
  16. Any chance of someone posting a screen capture showing these missles as seen in this episode? Thanks, Carl

  18. Has anyone seen TokyoHunter's picture of the Shadow Legioss built out of a green Legioss body yet? I've been eager to see a better picture of it and so far nothing. Carl

  21. This one? If so I have it and need to dig it out and check. If anyone here has this comic I'd love to see a scan. Carl
  22. So you are asking me to confirm if this strange invid is real Moespeada lineart? I believe it is... I've seen it before. I also noticed that the image you attached isn't the same image that is seen at Rubberslug. So I assume its safe to assume you've seen it somewhere else as well. Carl P.S. I take that back... the picture at Rudderslug is a cropped version of the picture you attached. It's been cropped to remove the bubble wrap around the edge. So where did you get the uncropped image?
  23. Well keep working at it. I'd love to see what he has. Just a little confused. What is rubberslug? What is it that you want me to confirm? Carl P.S. I forgot to get those scans I said I'd do last weekend... didn't I. I'll try again this weekend.
  24. Ahhh... I see that now. So... when will we get to see TokyoHunter's pic? Carl
