Just to go all out in how much I loved the movie,

the scene at the gasoline station in which Bart quickly redrew the wanted poster of the Simpsion and then the cashier actually saw the people from Bart's ugly revision of the poster which was the least expected thing to happen; then when they were arrested and Bart's evil laugh as they drove off just made everyone in the theater go wild, probably one of the best scenes in the whole movie for me

When I first heard about this, my first thought was "I bet it's something REALLY common, that only an utter moron would fail to recognize"--and I was right. Latest version of the story:

I just re-uploaded the favorite icon (creates the little UN Spacy Kite icon in your bookmarks/favorites for the site) that was wiped out during the server move.

My only concern is that the macross in the banner doesn't fit in, I dunno it's just the tone and angle of how the image was placed in or just me recognizing the image.

I honestly liked the other skin for some reason.

I plan to try to hold out and see how long emo-chip ones last. Backwards compatability is a big issue for me. I *need* to replay certain RPG's (and Ace Combat games) every once in a while.

But I really don't want to spend 500 bucks just to get a PS3 and like 1 game, just to get an emo chip before they're gone.

Does it really matter?

They just use firmware updates to increase the list for more backwards compatible games anyways.

I just hope they will let you pick a side.

I mean come on, discontinue a product at its most reasonable price in which it would grow some reasonable sales and offer something with only a minor increase in value and have that at the ridiculous $600 price; which could then offer a bigger loss for Sony?

I seriously doubt I'll own a PS3 before they're all emu-only, but my slim PS2 is so tiny I'll probably just leave it hooked up.

Ace Combat 5 is for PS2, so it shouldn't be that hard to get ahold-of. Even if nobody owns it (unlikely), the game was re-released as a "Greatest Hits" PS2 game, meaning it'll cost $20 or less at any store that carries it. But as for player familiarity: I can't imagine that anyone here wouldn't have played at least one of the Ace Combat games, especially given that there's a giant thread for Ace Combat 6's pending release on these forums.

I want some Ace Combat action..i ' have a few in that collectoin ill check what i have and post. i also have a few other flight shooters. Ill check it out..but I am def down for a dogfight..

But the amount of people that are going to know and know how to play the game is low.

We need something mainstream that everyone knows about and doesn't take forever to play through...

Of course, Sony never REALLY lowered the price.

They discontinued the $500 model.

Then came back, lowered the $600 mdoel to 500, and introduced a new 600$ model.

Essentially, it's an upgrade to the line, not a real price cut.

But they still cut the price of the $600 model, I don't get it.

Did he get his gear back eventually from the dumpster? If not, maybe he ought to consider suing StaffPro, the LBCC and perhaps even the SPJA itself, because if they threw away anything that had his personal info on it (particularly if he was carying anything that contained his SSN around), they put him at severe risk for identity theft. At any rate, that was still technically theft and destruction of personal property, so if he feels wronged enough, perhaps he ought to consult a lawyer. That sort of thing was thouruoughly unacceptible.

Yes it did have all his personal info, and no he did not recover it from the dumpster since he was kicked out of con.

I'm not in contact with him right now and it doesn't seem like things are going good for him right now, I'll feel so bad for him but I'm so pissed off at staff.
