Based on the numbers I'm seeing, it seems like NY less than 50 units available for preorder. That's not a lot at all...very interesting.

I think it could still give a good estimate because it doesn't matter that it wasn't everyone from here...just the earliest order number to the last Thanks! that's pretty quick...what was the time? I'm not so sure about that because most people don't make it to the finish line to see an order number...I know I was on the last step to "create order" and that's when I got a different sold out notice without ever seeing an order number. The notice @Valkyrie2008 got was after you complete everything and pretty much have the feeling of success until you don't. The only thing is there can be other oders created in between that aren't for the same item but within those few seconds, I think the numbers will still be a good measurement at least for me.

Curious, who has the earliest order # or successful order time at NY? I think it's safe to assume @Valkyrie2008 is one of the last to make it through the process so it would give us an idea of how many they have for initial preorder.

Yeah, I have one in 1:48 scale as well. As for the 956, I have an old Hot Wheels or Matchbox version and that's it. As for my most recent purchases, I haven't had time to open anything but here is a pretty recent batch of toys I got.

Nice selection of cars! The 959 is probably my all tmie favorite car so I do have one in my modest 1:18 car collection. It's not the rally version though. -
Yeah, good points. I really just don't care about color matching on war machines.

Maybe...I always feel it's kind of futile to judge colors off images from the web...Nobody knows anything about any color calibration, if any is involved.

I've shipped all my purchases by boat when it presents a significant (around $10 or more) savings and so far, so good. Saved me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars for more items. Hope it works out for you!

I never got the point of paying anything for faster shipping at any time...these are all things we never had that we will have potentially for life so what's the rush? The only point to be made about paying more (that makes sense to me for those who want to) is the extra insurance that is sometimes included but I'm also not into not into paying to insure someone else's incompetence.

I love the cell shaded look for figures that orginate from cell shaded media. I want an entire collection of Macross and TFs painted by LEK. But the problem is, I also want an entire collection of the regular look too and right now, those are much cheaper. I'm sure one day, companies will once again reissue everything with the cell shaded look from factory and the fun will start all over again.

Sweet! Same here! All time favorite since I was a little kid and had many models I built on display at local libraries. I haven't dove into the modern, high end diecast models yet but if I did, this would be the first one I grab. Scary thing is, I would fall deep into a hole of others... -
