Oh I believe Mikumo is a real physical person. It's Mirage I was talking about. Like Mirage is clearly a physical being, but is she really real? Or just a duplicate or avatar to let Mikumo assume a normal life outside of her Walkure performances. Just a theory, so it's probably not going to happen. -

I've been thinking about Mirage and Mikumo lately, and how Mirage doesn't really know her famous family and Mikumo doesn't have any close relations with anyone. What it Mirage is like a physical avatar for Mikumo for her to try to interact with society normally? -

Ah I got ya now. Anyway I'm worried I'm going to miss out on the eventual Mirage preorder, now that I'm going to be busier for the rest of the year. I was lucky that I was at home on my PC at the time of Hayate's preorder going live, but now I'm going to have to rely on my phone.

Isn't that just presence though? The ones with the most presence in a show are always the MC/hero.

Off topic but while I agree TFW is kinda bad, years ago (early or mid 2000s?) TFW was waaay more toxic. I remember one incident where one of the mods (Kickback I think) started a vicious attack on one of the members who was going through a rough time and just wanted to express her opinion on something, and the whole community jumped on board to attack her as well without repercussions. People only seemed to back off a bit when I called them out on their behavior, but really the mods should have nipped that in the bud asap, let alone allow one of their own staff to even start it. Anyway, enough of that site's community, back to our beloved DX VF-31. What is the likelihood of Bandai making the rest of the VF-31's exclusives? And will they continue releasing them in reverse order since Hayate's is 05, go back to 01, or based on popularity or presence in the show?

Each time I see a new post I'm always hopeful on new info the VF-31C. Why must you guys keep disappointing me?!

Did this info dump really deserve 90% of the episode? There's only 7 episodes left in the series, and poor Mirage's character development still only focuses on Hayate. Give her some more things to things to do already! I want to see her improving her piloting and be in dog flights. Or maybe even research her family's involvement in major events in the Macross series to she can try to figure out what she should be doing with her life. Like, I'm grateful she actually got some focus this episode, but she's still so far behind in character development compared to the other main characters like Hayate and Freya. Speaking of Freyja, just how much more drama is she going to experience? First it's losing her parents, then escaping a forced marriage, then failing the Walkure tryouts, then being threatened that she'll be kicked out of Walkure if she doesn't improve, then being suspected of being a spy, then dealing with being called a traitor to their homeland, then almost being executed by the Knights, then getting sad about her short lifespan, and now she has to deal with the one thing she's loved since childhood (singing) being a danger to not only the universe, but also the guy she loves. Take a break with her already and give some other characters some focus. Like, even ignoring Mirage, we still haven't even found out whether Chuck's sister is really dead or not. -
Well I guess that's a plus. I prefer ordering from HLJ though so I can group my orders to save on shipping. But I guess if I had to choose between missing out and paying aftermarket prices or getting it as an exclusive I'd pick the latter.

Why is that minor character being promoted along with the main characters? Don't they realize audiences will assume she has relevance to the plot and get mad when the opposite happens. [/still salty] -
Omg I swear if Bandai make Mirage's VF-31C an exclusive only I will rage so hard. Also, would it kill them to make a greater quantity of these figures instead of the severely limited number they did with the VF-31J? People shouldn't have to worry about not getting a preorder within the first 10 minutes of it being made available.

I like the design of the VF-31F's. The head sort of reminds me of a skull, which works well with Messer's Grim Reaper notoriety. I will have to pass on it however, as I simply cannot afford to buy all of the DX VF-31 figures. I'll just get Mirage's VF-31C when it goes up for preorder to go with Hayate's VF-31J, and that'll be it. If by some miracle I am able to afford another DX Macross Delta figure though, it'll be Sv-262 Draken III, although I'm starting to feel a little meh about it.

I now really want the DX of VF-31C Mirage. I can live without the others (even Sv-262 Draken III, although I will try to get one eventually), but I really want Mirage's. Ever since I saw her VF-31 I just really liked it's colours and Battroid head. I mean, her actual character may not be the best, but I still like her. Now to impatiently wait for her preorder. Myfigurecollection says 2016, but I doubt that since Hayate's VF-31 is being released in December.

Oh Mirage, you're just not destined to have any character development are you? Now even Cassim is getting more focus. Like the development that the piloting boost from singing is now a double edge sword, that's even starting to negatively affect the Windermereans. Mikumo is either protoculture, or an artificial one? Interesting. -
Hmm well if I do that I'll only have to check for a single week each month, instead of the entire month, i guess that's more reasonable. I'd still rather for bandai and other companies to have a preorder schedule instead of just a release date schedule.. I was lucky enough to get it around the time the preorders went live, but that's only because I was checking repeated throughout the day, including the hour prior.

Managed to get a preorder for the Vf-31J a few hours ago from hlj. Looking forward to getting my first Macross Figure. I had literally been checking various online stores several times a day, everyday in hopes of getting one. Can I just ask if anyone knows if there is certain website or twitter etc that announces when figures like this are scheduled to go up for preorder? It's very stressful checking checking all day every day for limited release items like these chogokins
