  1. Wow, Thanks for the pictures Graham! I am definately looking forward to this toy and more photographs of the design as the time for it to arrive draws near. Twich
  2. Awesome pics....did it give a release date for this bad boy? I am eagerly awaiting this item! Twich
  3. Just a little bit of trivia for you, the FN Sive-Seven that they are using have 20 round clips in them....while I didnt do an exact count of the amount of rounds fired, I do remember seeing them change mags a couple of times...and who knows, maybe the cylons that are a part of a boarding party have heavier armor then the regular patrol units....Also, to be a total nerd here...the FN was designed to fire 5.7mm Armor piercing ammo that was designed to penetrate type III body armor.....but that is just getting too technical. 4. Cool, Thanks JsArclight.....I know that you are the authority on AR-15 rifles, as I have spoken to you before about them. I went to Top Glock and I ordered a third 13rd Magazine along with a double mag pouch and a Kydex holster for it. Vermont has a concealed carry law, as well as people dont usually bat an eye if you walk around packing a side arm(especially around hunting season). I have to say that I really like Glock weapons....I just wish that they would sell the factory hoslters and mag pouches online(I havent been able to find them) and the fact that the weapons comes with cleaning rod and brush, case and lock...along with the 2 cases from the factory where they test fired it. I have had a Ruger(P89 I think) 9mm, a AMT Backup in .45 ACP, a Sig Sauer P226 9mm and older model Glock 21 and a Glock 26(9mm) "Baby Glock" and a Desert Eagle .44 Magnum. The weapon that I have derived the most pleasure owning and shooting has been the Glock. For handguns, I will go with nothing else....I have fired the HK USP .45, and while it was a nice weapon, it is a little too pricey for me. I have also fired a "Shorty .40" which I think was manufactured by Smith and Wesson, a Baretta .40(forget if it is the 92S or what) Point I am trying to make is, I have used and owned quite an assortment of handguns in my time, and the Glock is by far the best, in my humble opinion. While I would love to own a HK Socom 23 pistol, I think the $2000+ dollar price tag makes it a collectors item or a real enthusiasts weapon...not something for someone like me. Twich
  5. Just picked up a new Glock 21 after not having one for a couple of years.....I like what they have done to improve the little things that come with a Glock pistol....the case is much better and bigger, the weapon now comes with High Capacity mags(13 round) and the lock that comes with it is a flexible cord as opposed to the looped cord that was attached to a pad lock basically of my old Glock 21. I was considering going with the Glock 37, but I liked the size of the Glock 21 over the Glock 37, and the local gun shop doesnt really carry any ammo in .45 GAP, while they have tons of .45 ACP... The only thing that I like about the Glock 37 over the Glock 21 is the Slide release....it is much easier to do, but I am finding that the Glock 21 is getting easier and easier to use with more time. On a side note, I am amazed at how easily the 13 round fit into the brand new mags, while I remember having a real difficult time getting 10 into the mags of my previous Glock 21. I am still considering getting a Rock River AR-15 rifle with quad rail fore-grip and 6 position telescoping butt-stock that the local gun shop has for around $990....but I might wait a while to save up the cash. 6. Wow, I am really psyched by this....I hope to see it and I know it will be awesome...cant wait for proto pics and the actual product! Twich
  7. One thing that kinda stumped my noodle was the whole Harry vs Snape at the end of the book.....he wasnt even able to get out his curses before it seemed that Snape was blocking them.....we know that he is able and has done the Crucio curse, he did it to Bellatrix in the last book after she killed Sirius....it was kinda funny because Snape was sort of mocking Harry with "Mr. Potter, one of the unforgivable curses...tsk, tsk" It just seemed odd to me that he wasnt able to do anything to Snape after he had been able to in previous books(Prisoner of Azkaban)...unless of course it was for plot reasons, in which case, I would have to assume(big assumption) that Snape really did what he did so that Draco would not be evil and to convince once and for all to the bad guys that he is "a part" of them, while really working for the good guys. I guess we shall see in a few years what really is going to happen. As far as this series supposing to be "for Kids" I think it was stated when it first came out that the books would mature as the story progressed.....since Harry is 16, almost 17 it is assumed that those would be the age level reading it......the books are supposed to grow with its intended audience as well as the characters. To tell you the truth, I think these books are pretty tame in comparison to some Science Fiction/Fantasy that is out today(George R.R. Martin Fire and Ice series comes to mind) Twich
  8. I think that I have to agree with what was said earlier.....I think that Dumbledore was pleading with Snape to be the one to kill him so that Draco wouldnt have to, I think that Snape is still on the "Good Guys" side, but I think that act will remove all doubt from any of Voldemorts followers, and Voldemort himself. I dont know how the whole "Not going to go to school thing" sits with me, but you know the first event in the next book is going to be Bill and Fluer's wedding. I think that in the end of the book, we will see that Hermione and Ron will be together and we will see Harry and Ginny together as well, Harry let go of Ginny because he truly does care for her and doesnt want to see her get hurt....so I think we will see that they end up with each other. I would not be a bit surprised if we see the Ginny accompanies them on their quest, even against Harry's protests...but that is pure conjecture on my part. Twich
  9. Just barely got done reading it myself....wow....I think I might have to read it again to get it to sink in, but definately a powerful story, and I cannot wait until the next book comes out, but it will be a long couple of years..... Twich
  10. I did, my clan runs a server....209.123.8.61, although it is non-ranked. Festival of Frags Clan Website Twich
  11. I really like the demo, but I cant, for the life of me get the damn Voice IP thing to work, it works until I die, then....Poof! Its gone! I hope that the full version isnt quite so glitchy....but otherwise it look sand plays quite nicely on my machine Specs: Amd Athlon 64 3000+ 1 GB Kingston DDR400 Dual Channel Ram BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC 256MB GDDR3 Video Card Twich
  12. AnimeOne website thingy for DL torrents Here you go Twich
  13. Just DL episode 10. I am really liking the series, I cannot wait for the toys to come out...although I would have preferred staying with the Mahou subs, they are way too slow, so I am going with the AnimeOne. Twich
  14. My clan and I Festival of Frags got the demo from Filerush.com, and until such time as they come out with a linux version of the demo, we play at the Filerush.com Just type that into the server info and it comes right up. I have to say that the squads and the commander really make things interesting and fun....the game is much more challenging and fun with these new features over Desert Combat.....and this is only 1 map with a restriction of 32 players. Twich
  15. Thank You for the news Kevin...I wonder what they might be? I guess we shall have to wait to find out....once again, thanks for the news! Twich
  16. Yeah, my online gaming clan Festival of Frags are gearing up for the release, we are taking DC(our primary game) off of our primary box and installing BF2, the day it comes out I suppose.....I dont know what they are going to do about server managers and the like for admins, but I guess Black Bag Ops is working on it. I am looking forward to this, and so is the rest of the =FoF= clan! Here is hoping it doesnt suck! Twich
  17. Well, to counter all the girls who think that Sawyer is "Dreamy" I will tell you that I think that Claire is "DREAMY!!!" Love the accent! I could not tell that she was Australian from her earlier appearance on Roswell. Twich
  18. Apparently there are some Gashophon(sp?) toys that are available from HLJ HLJ-Aquarion stuff Also, the combining toys that they are making look to be huge! Reading that info, the combined robot is between 46 and 51 meters tall? Twich
  19. So, I wonder when episode 5 and further are going to be fansubbed by Mahou....I have enjoyed the show thus far and want to continue to download it...hope we get something soon! Twich
  20. I am really rather impressed with the 4 episodes that I have seen thus far.....I cant wait for everything to come out for this, and I especially want the toy....it looks great. Let us hope that the series continues to go the way it is going, and I dont think we will have anything to worry about. Twich
  21. If you like game like Diablo, then you will like Untold Legends...I like hack and slash games, and I always have, so that was a given for me when I got the PSP, but some others might not like hack and slash games...so I guess it is all personal preference. Twich
  22. Play nice boys.....Can't we all just live in our geek-dom in happiness and peace? Can't we all just get along? Twich
  23. What do people think of the game Rengotku:Tower of Purgatory? I am sure I butchered the name, so dont point and laugh because of that....anyways...is it good? I thought it looked good, but didnt want to buy it until I heard from others.... Twich
  24. JUst finished watching the first 3 episodes....WOW, I am highly impressed with the story and basically everything thus far.....as far as the toy, I think that I will be picking it up when it comes out....the thing is just amazing. I wonder when Mahou is releasing episode 4? I am waiting for it! Twich
  25. My first pistol was a Ruger P95....it was a nice weapon that never had any problems, my only beef with it, is it is a 9mm. The weapons was really nice to learn to shoot on and it came with a 15 round clip, as I recall(I bought used) If you are looking for a good 9mm, and dont like such weapons as Glocks, then maybe a ruger would work for you.....but I guess that I am just partial to Glocks.
