Apologies, I had thought the VF-1J had released. Thanks for what you do!

I have noticed that you have posted more review vids as of late. Please keep up the excellent reviews! For S & G’s, are you trying to acquire/have the desire to acquire any more of the 1/72 Kitzconept VF-1 toys to review? Thanks!

What is a good price to purchase a Bandai DX VF-27 1st version? I would think the Brera would be less rare, but I have recently got a hankering for a VF-27 toy and don’t want to pay the inflated prices for a renewal version. I would prefer new, but like new, used is good too....just wondering what a good, reasonable price would be.
thank you,

So, I purchased a VF-4G Roy from Amazon, the seller used japan post. I contacted the seller asking for tracking info, knowing full well it would take a while and got a link telling me about the restricted countries list. I didn’t see the good old US of A on there, but since I have no way to know, I hope it will get here in a month. Any known issues with this release? Scorched earth toys hasn’t released a review vid yet in which I might live vicariously while I ponder my life as a healthcare worker amidst the pandemic we have going on.

For the FIghting Fantasy VII Remake, I was fairly impressed that there was no day 1 patch, that on my internet, would take a week to 10 days to download in order to make the game playable. I got to install it and look at the opening cinematic and that was it, but it didnt require a patch....pretty impressive in this day and age.

if you dont want a max/milia VF-1J with fast packs, you could go with the VF-1S Focker that is on ebay for $99.00 USD with free shipping
If you do want the VF-1J with fast packs, I think that this is in line with what the ShowZStore was selling them for before they sold out.

Yeah, I have the big hexagon base with the little square that comes off of it. So I guess that is a 1. It works well, and I didnt have to buy it, I already had it. But I wish that all the Bandai Hi-Metal R came with stands, instead of just select ones. Like the VF-2SS SAP would have really benefitted from having a stand and little arms for the 4 little Attack Bits, instead, unless you already own it, the cheapest solution is almost $100 USD, which is the price of the toy itself.

so, if it is the 15th anniversary of Frontier, that would be 2022, right? 2007 was frontier, right along with Gundam 00. I would like to see more Frontier and other valkyries, but not huge price gouging on the secondary market.

Has anyone used, or thought to use the bandai 1/100 funpla stands for stands for their Hi-Metal R toys? I am using an old 1/100 scale stand for gundams, and it seems to work ok, and I also repurposed the two stands that Bandai included with the DX VF-19Advance valk set to hold up the boosters to use to hold up the Attack Bit drones for the Hi-Metal R VF-2SS SAP Nexx that I have as my only HMR so far. I ordered a VF-4G Focker, that will arrive whenever it gets sent over via Amazon. I cant wait to see this toy, as it looks pretty solid.

unfortunately, it was. That seller now has almost 100 negative feedback in just a short span. You might be lucky, but I got a lego figure. Good Luck

Edit-so I had to file a claim with ebay, as the seller did not respond to my email after I received the wrong item. Ebay took about five minutes before they issued a full refund, so at least I get my money back......kinda wanted the VF-1J Max, though
-
that was from one specific ebay seller. Unless you purchased from that one ebay seller, you should be fine.

oh no, it was a single lego mini-fig. It had a grimace and a beard. was not happy when I saw the package for it, was smaller than a wallet, definately not big enough for a 1/60 VF-1J

bad news for me. My ebay purchased ended up being a scam, I got a lego figure instead of a 1/60 VF-1J Max with super packs. Had to start an ebay case for it. One of the most expensive lego figures I ever bought......kinda sucks.

just watched that on youtube, I thought the homage that they paid was very awesome! Who knew what you could do with paperclips?

So, I just looked at that link that was posted on the previous page and it looks like Valkyrie factory is doing a whole bunch of stuff. I cannot read it, but it looks like they are doing a KO VF-31J Kai with reaction missles, and it looks like they do KO YF-29 Super Parts. I would like to see what all of those things posted on the TaoBao site, Valkyrie Factory seem to be quite busy, wonder if it says a release date for the VF-31J Kai KO.

Yeah, it looks like these might not get the premium Finish that their VF-1S Roy, VF-1S Hikaru and VF-1J Max/Milia did. I cannot read the text, does it say specifically that they are releasing the Non-PF version of Max and Milia?
If they would be under $100 USD for non-fast pack, non-premium finish, I would definately want to get these, if the quality is good.
My VF-1J Max is stuck in Indiana, hope it will get to me this week or Monday of next week so I can see how quality these things are.

So, are there any other reviews/pictures of the Kitzconcept 1/72 VF-1J Hikaru/Rick Hunter?

That is the only VF-31 that I have and I love it. The black is just stunning and to dichotomy of color is truly impressive.

I agree the SV-262 is a thing of beauty. How did you shine up the gold, my copy seems to have faded to a coppery color now in hue. Transforming it has added to my grey hair collection and is the only valk toy that I am afraid to try to transform again.

Bots & Bits, I enjoyed your reviews of the Valkyrie Factory VF-1's, hope you can continue with the others that they have already put out along with future releases, whatever those may be.

VF-27, YF-29, SV-262, and even VF-31. The Special arm cannon on the YF-19 might have some anti-capital capability. VB-6 definately shows on screen anti-capital ship capability

I am wanting to adopt a wait and see approach. If they do manage to produce something even if it were a 1/60 scale that is even 80% as good as the official Bandai vf-31’s then I say that would be a good thing at the $160 price range. The prototype looked really good (if it was the prototype). So I am hopeful. The reviews of the KO 1/60 vf-1 toys is promising and they have the tampo printing down. I will know first hand when my vf-1j max gets here from China.

Now, I have recently seen a VF-31F that was around $180 or so on either ebay or amazon, but that is one I already have, so I did not look very hard at it.

No, not talking of the bandai ones. I am talking of the Valkyrie Factory VF-31J that they have been advertising/teasing. This is on "pre-order" on ebay right now for $160 with shipping, bu with no definitive release date or more info.

I am glad that I am not the only one who did not know what it was. Thought maybe MW was having some internal strife, thus why I clicked on the thread, hoped Shawn or Graham were not having troubles......and yes, my kids would have to set it up for me and provide tech support......what happened to cursing someone out, face to face? LOL
