  1. Any new information on the potential/upcoming Hi Metal R VF-0S? Will it have integrated landing gear, as previous pictures suggest?

    Thanks!

  2. So, I have a question for you guys here.  My son, who is 13 is into transformers in a very large way.  He ordered and paid for with his own money a third party Devastator set from China, and it cost around $50.  He received it two days ago, and the Hook from the set already broke.  He is going to send it back for a refund, but I would like to try to get him a better, but still relatively affordable constructicon set.  What do people recommend?  Now, but affordable, I am talking less than $100.  I know that there are masterpiece scale sets that cost hundreds of dollars, but I think at 13, that is a little beyond him now.  Please let me know!

    Thank You,

  3. Played the original Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition on my PS5 recently and thoroughly enjoyed the game.  I just picked up Horizon Forbidden West for the PS5, have not had a chance to play yet, as I am currently at work, but when I get off my rotation, I will play it and see how it lives up to the previous one.

I am trying to play through the PS5 upgrade of Final Fantasy VII Remake intergrade, which is an awesome game, I am only about 20 hours in.  I am hesitant to try to install my PS4 disk copy of Cyberpunk 2077 now that the PS5 upgrade patch is out, since people are saying that there are issues with the disk version of the game....havent really looked into it, but I have so many new PS5 games to play and not enough hard drive space to load them up, but I am so glad that I was able to get a PS5, have really been enjoying it

  4. So, I remember wondering about this when it was announced, but no one ever mentioned it, then I forgot about it and was reminded of it when I just looked at the picture of the DX recently.  This release of the Bandai DX Chogokin VF-25F WWM release has 021 as the modex #, to symbolize the world wide release in 2021?  I was wondering if it will be changed to 022, since this DX toy is being release in 2022, which is the 40th anniversary of the series.  maybe I am crazy for dwelling on this little tidbit, but I think it is important to get the modex# right, if it is supposed to indicate the year of release and 40th anniversary year.

  5. so, is it me, or do we have the voice actors for the series presenting the DX toys and talking about them and playing with them.  Some of the females appear to be familiar, as in they are the VA for the Delta girls.  It is cool to see the toy in physical 3D shape, but for now, I shall have to live vicariously through the pictures posted in the VF-31AX threads to see what they are.

  6. I too am very surprised as to this announcement, but I am very glad to see that they are innovating into something that has only seen kit form before this time.  I will look forward to wanting this when it becomes available.

  7. So something that kind of stuck into my head a little ago, and yes, I know we don’t have official stats, but…..why would they take the base VF-31 Kairos and boost it up with a bunch of fold quartz to gain performance, engine wise. The base Kairos has a thrust of 1645kN x2, the Siegfried has 1800 something kN x2 with the fold wave system boosting it by 15% or so in overboost.
did they use the engines of the original Kairos or Siegfried? My thought is that the original Kairos didn’t have the fold wave overboost thing, so if they gave it that capability by adding fold quartz….you pretty much give it the performance of the original Siegfried.

Would it not be cheaper to just give the Siegfried some different/upgraded wings, more fold quartz to increase fold wave boost and change out the mission pack?

I guess it is just hard for me to wrap my head around this based on not having any factual hard stats to back it up, for my brain at least. What does everyone else think?

  8. So it looks like Egan Loo at the Macross Compendium is starting g to upload some info for the SV-303 and the VF-31AX Kairos Plus. To add to my previous question, since it seems like they scavenged parts from the Siegfried and the SV-262 Draken III, I wonder if the rail guns were stripped from a SV-262 to “beef” it up. Can’t wait for more official information on these mechs.

  9. Can anyone point me to a nice 1284x2778 wallpaper of the VF-27Beta Commander version (Green) in both battroid and fighter mode.  the only pictures I can find of the green VF-27 are crappy and grainy.  Any help would be appreciated!  Thank You!

  10. Does it not seem odd to anyone else that we have not seen any new information about the mecha from the second Macross Delta movie?  It has been a few months since release and we still don't really have any information.  Even the VF-31AX Kairos Plus, we can only speculate as to what its stats are.  Why are the rail guns beefier?  Are they a larger caliber?  The VF-31A kairos had 27mm railguns, the VF-31 Siegfried had 25mm railguns.  The designation on the guns of the toy lead us to believe it is a LM-25, which is the same as the Siegfried, but why is it so much larger and longer?

I am truly curious as to the stats of the SV-303 and how only a YF-29 piloted by Max Jenius has any chance against it?  Are people thinking it is even more powerful than a Earth based VF-24?

I know this has probably been discussed at length, but man, no info is painful!

  11. looking at the pictures that people are posting of the rail guns on their toys, it seems that there is even more tampo printing on this release as opposed to the VF-31 Siegfried toys they released.  Is the amount of tampo printing significantly increased?  The new details make this toy even more desirable to me now.  Thanks!

  12. so a question to those that may have more knowledge on this.....I am getting a Bandai DX Chogokin VF-25F World Wide Macross release pre-ordered from BBTS.  I know that the release of this toy is April, but realistically, when can it be expected that BBTS will be sending these out?  June?  July?  Through the years on this site, I have heard that it seems that BBTS gets their Japanese items on the back of a donkey, strapped to two steel drums, set adrift into the Pacific ocean, and it might take a long while to arrive.  Didn't know if someone had a better idea.  Thank You!

  13. I would have to say that I would enjoy all five VF-0 variants(6 if you count a Shin custom) plus some SV-51 action as well. I too wish that they would announce release date, preorder and MSRP.

  14. I really like the design, and if I am not mistaken, it appears as if the canopy can open.  If it comes with integrated landing gear and missiles and a stand, this could be a very complete Hi-Metal R package!  I hope that they release more details and dimensions soon!
