  1. I think it would be kinda disappointing. Shammy would be fun to have had around for more of the series but lacks impact as a reveal at this point. She would have bewn great 5 or 6 episodes ago though.
  2. I guess I didn't say that clearly. It feels like Delta has about as much story as 85th MS Team and then spread it over the whole one year war. Though that's not even the best way to say it. Got it Delta is the story of delta squadron the same as SDFM was the story of Vermilion squadron. We've got more time with our little group but they feel like they have less character because the world around them feels so empty. Maybe.. ish. Its a fight over an area with more planets than it feels like they have participants. Feel free to be confused I don't think I'm explaining this to well.
  3. Nah this episode is ok just everything in it and last episode should have been woven together with a little more conceeat information mixed in. Basiicly have the rest and hacking start last episode reveil some of the recap stuff through that. Maybe have a meeting between Burger and the leadership that leaves the end of last ep as Kaname deciding to work with makirrina instaid of ratting them out. This episode could have followed with mostly more of the same and ended as it did. Because the Mikumo in a tank thing would have been a big reveal after two episodes of what the he'll is Mikumo. Instead of you know A THING THEY ALREADY SHOWED US 👿!!!
  4. I have no clue on Lady M. Burger and the weasel faces NUNs guy seemed to know who she is so she's not a particularly shadowy character. That points to her being a new character but if that's the case why haven't we been introduced to the ecintric leader of Chaos? She sounds neat. The payoff window on this particular teese seems to have passed.
  5. Obviosly, but I was thinking more the we've stayed with the same small group on both sides thing. It's not the best comparison but it feels like a fight being waged across across more planets than we have active participants and I've never watched a show like that and probably wouldn't be wathing this one if it wasn't Macross. (Maybe I am a sucker for all forms of mechs.)
  6. The funny thing is delta's feels a bit like IBO or 85th MS team or one of the smaller tighter stories but spread over a grander conflict than the origional macross.
  7. Basara isn't the hero My land and Gamlin are. Basara is a force of nature. 7 is much more enjoyable if you think of it as Mylene and Gamlins syrugle to guid the avatar of Rock & Roll into the path of Chthulu. 7 dragged a bit in parts but didn't have the weird pacing hiccups Delta has.
  8. There is a subtle difference between building suspense and withholding information and Delta tends to fall toward the latter. That and this is the third or fourth time we've gotten efectivly the same cliffhanger multiple episodes in a row. Pacing on this show is weird.
  9. I think it mutated(?) into a nonlethal strain. Its possible they have some level of collective conscience since they where how the vajra maintained theirs. A galaxy spanning magic bacteria God as it were. Evolution through shared learning. Its important to remember no-one really truly gets this bio fold stuff though count setting probably knows more than the protoculture did as they've come a bit farther without summoning Chthulu.
  10. I want to strangle Basara. That I find him so very infuriating means he's a good character if that makes any sence.
  11. The bio fold resonance stuff is magic and Dr Chibas and the first Anima spirit is guys atempts to use it as a force of love and good to banish evil spirits are the only attempts to scientificly weaponize it that didn't end in utter disaster. The galaxy was saved because Basara is to stupid to live and wouldn't give up on the emotional conection being the only important part in the face of all evidence. And that's why we need the wind singer interupted by the Archmage of Rock and Roll.
  12. The shield drones could be to protect civlians if a significant chunk of missions are anty terrorist/ var containment ops. That could be the Sigfrieds nich?
  13. You know I'd love to see consequences fall on Epsilon. This exact type of you can't touch me because rules while breaking more and bigger rules is a pet leave of mine.
  14. What????? Am I reading something wrong or are you working under the impresion that Mikumo isn't an actual physical person. There is a near certanty that she is something other than a gander issue human but she is a real person.
  15. they were people and all but as a society they wrecked themselves and the most benevolent things that have been passes down are warnings not to be like them. Also having finally seen the subs Burger shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt he's barely worth trying to sift through the crap.
  16. The protoculture doesn't have any heirs or children they left goodies for. They have slaves and playthings they left traps for to stop them becoming threats while the PC were wiping themselves out. The protoculture weren't a wise elder race they were self destructive asshats.
  17. Because Bogue gets picked on for being overly emotional and his stock die Walkure shot. So people have pointed out that it's actually a good tactic since if he succeeded in killing the girls Windemer gets auto wins from there in out, and that grew to him being the unsung hero of the aerial knights because people have a dance of humor. Now I must hide be for I'm hunted down for spilling top secrets.
  18. No the VFs have enough thrust that 0 to tear your wings off is a matter of seconds. The physics of these things is so far outside the relms of fesiable that modern tactics are actually sillier than the made up stuff so you might as well go with the rule of cool.
