Tried out the recently more popular WAVE Tan and Gray Pla-Plate. Been using Evergreen Styrene for the past 20 years due to WAVE and Tamiya's product not being local. My mind is a bit blown. The stuff (especially the tan) cuts literally like butter compared to the 20 passes (with a fresh blade) it takes to get through the same thickness (1.5mm) of evergreen's product. Being able to work without having to dread lengthy cutting/chiseling/scribing sessions is just the boost I think I need to get back at it.
Dear lord, the evergreen stuff is so hard to deal with. Don’t get me wrong, it’s high quality and very sturdy, but that really works against you especially with hand tools

The Empire IS Star Wars.😃
I don’t know what she needs the gun for. Her slaps seemed rather effective against storm trooper armor

I was cracking up at that as well. Great episode with some interesting changes to different situations all around. And can’t wait for the big showdown with soldier boy and Homelander. Really liked what they did with A-Train in this one.

A lot of these newer shows shot in 4K Dolby Vision pretty much require you to watch them in a completely dark room. I keep my Dolby Vision setting on "Bright" for everything on Disney + and don't attempt watching them until after dark with one LED lamp on in the corner of the room dimmed to like 10%. The directors and people in charge seem to have forgotten that just because they watch everything in darkened editing suites or screening rooms, that somewhere out in the REAL world, people might actually have these things called WINDOWS in their living rooms!
I honestly didn’t notice. Then again I was watching at midnight on release day as soon as it popped up. I probably will never rewatch this show since it was so bad, but I’ll see if I notice it on something else one of these days

He enlarged the eyes but further modifications to the shapes, and his body type, were made by Eric Larsen and Mark Bagely after he left. The shape of the mask/eyes is very Mark Bagely on this figure. But they did manage to nail a proportion that evokes the "ideal" Spider-Man look which happens to cross over between Todd, Eric and Mark though.
Either way, it’s definitely not the classic Spider-Man. More like the late 80’s early 90’s Spider-Man. And the blue is like I said intended to be blue, but I could see how someone might think it was black since the way they highlighted black looks exactly the same as that eras dark blue was colored.

Outside of a short stint Spider-Man has always been depicted as Blue and Red. The two head sculpts provided are the same two that have come with every other classic Spider-Man release and are Mark Bagley style. The image you posted above is from later in MacFarlane's career where the look of the mask had already changed from when Todd was originally on the book and more reflects Bagely at that point.
McFarlane isn't always the colorist either.
I had always heard that Mcfarlane was the one that enlarged the eyes and popularized the spaghetti webbing. I still have some of those comics buried away in a box. Before his run, I remember the eyes were much smaller, like more than half the size in some cases.

Isn’t Spider-Man supposed to be black and red? So the blue is a highlight of the black spandex.
The face and webbing are more the McFarlane style than the classic style. I think he’s always been blue, but after looking at images of that era Spider-Man in that style outfit and his black outfit, it kinda makes me question that. I think McFarlane intended the classic to still be dark blue especially after seeing his Spawn/ Spider-Man cover, but the way he did black back in the day looks the same as his blue.

About to start watching Spriggan on Netflix.
The action is good, but the dialogue is really cheesy. I really loved the movie from a few years back, so this felt a bit lacking. Overall it’s still worth watching, just don’t watch it in English, it’s really awkward. I was doing a second watch in English while I was packing for a move and it’s even cheesier and they couldn’t afford British actors, so they just talk like sub par American voice actors. It gets a bit odd trying to figure out which side people are on when they all sound the same and the soldiers look similar.

I hope it’s good. I feel a bit let down by a lot of the newer anime.

Definitely true. The writers just didn’t know what to do with this. Then again maybe killing Vader would have sent more people to their deaths since a more competent bad guy might have taken over. That grand inquisitor guy had a pretty good idea to destroy the ship Vader let go. Not saying he’s all that either, but at least he’s slightly more rational

Yup, gonna start watching tonight. I need something good after that stupid Obi show ending.

While I'm at it. You'd think the final cameo would greet Obi-Wan with an apology for guessing wrong abour Anakin being the chosen one. You were only a Padawan and I asked you to teach this troubled kid to become a Jedi? My bad.
Yeah, qui gon sucked in this as well.
the Obi show had so many great actors and just wasted them completely. Those writers should be fired for sure after this mess. And I hope for all the actors of this show to find better work elsewhere in projects that can use their talents to their full potential. -

I absolutely hated the soundtrack and the horrible shaky-cam cinematography.
The soundtrack was extremely forgettable for a star wars entry. And although the shaky cam was excessive, I think it helped to hide the terrible background effects and crappy special effects.

The crusader helmet had two ornaments included in the jousting pack, but I noticed the spike was the exact same piece as the one in the horse armor kit, so I took the plume from the horse kit to add to the knight they have the same connection peg, so it was absolutely no issue
side by side with the female knight. The armor is attached to the side of the leg on the male and the shoulder armor plugs into holes on top of the shoulder. Upper body articulation is the same, but the female has a thigh swivel and an extra swivel at the feet that the male knight doesn’t have. The female knight is a two year newer or so figure, so that may be improvements on the newest figures going forward.
also picked up the dragon acolyte figure. Gave him a knife from some spare parts out of the barbarian set

I will say that I did like the final showdown between Obi-wan and Vader. It's the kind of fight we should have gotten at the end of Episode 3, not the stupid lightsaber dancing we got in that stupid movie.
I liked it until the awkward super force powers. If Jedi were this powerful, how did they lose to clones?

Actually I warned you. It was a terrible show through to the end. There were a couple episodes that were less bad than others, but as whole, it leaves a hole in the heart
