i liked bahamut better as a dragon, what happend? the craftsmanship on these looks outstanding, the designs i just don't like. half capes, one sleve shirts, thats not cloud.

what you do is duplicate the wing, cut out the peices you need and delete the parts you don't need. that way you don't create them from scratch and they'll look seamless.

i'm slowly realizing i just really don't like DYRL that much.. i like it far less than SDF and Mac+. I'm starting to think i'm going to like it less than M7 (when ever i get to it)

thats fine too. i just don't understand why people don' tdo this for their cg models. its hard to make a actionfigure or real world model because of the anime magic. but for some reason people are very hesitant to apply the same cheats to 3d that they apply to 2d. imagine a realistic looking valk that looked perfect in all three modes. the last alien movie was ALIEN. Not Aliens: Ants in SPACE! (although i liked it, it doesn't hold even a flickery candle to the original) while i've always liked predator, the pred movies have always been just a slight notch above b-movies. AvP didn't make me sad for the preds. but Aliens started out as a very pure and well done movie. Stunning alien and just utter pure animalistic evil. Alien doesn't deserve the "extreem to the max" treatment. predator.. eh... he's cool but he's lower on the production values ladder. (strange set of opinions i know, considering i find the predator much more intresting than the aliens)

ok i had an idea. in MAYA there are thigns called blend shapes. basicly you set up controls so that an object will morph when a slider is manipulated. it seems like using blend shapes could solve the proportions issues for transformations these models are having. it would be an easy way to scale the wings down for a vf-1 in battroid mode for example. or beef up legs/ arms when in robot mode and shrink them or elongate them as needed in jet mode. does this sound familiar to anyone? its simple to do yet complicated to explain. its used ALOT for facial animation but i see no reason why it couldn't work here. so long as the changes arn't HUGE, they probably woudln't be noticeable during a fully animated transformation. if this sounds intresting to any of you let me know, i'll see if i can make a blend shape tutorial. i ONLY know maya but i'm sure there are equivalents in 3d max, xsi, and what ever else. PM me if you have any specific questions

Can you honestly say you play that game all the time.. as in it never gets old to you? I personally hate that game... The next person to tell me to "guard the Cat's Eye" gets to watch me eat their liver. i tried for three hours to beat that level and never succeded. i'm sure the reasons are more than aparent to you. as for my games: Zelda Link to the Past has always had a place in my heart. i find i can drive around in the GTA games all day. I don't play for random violence, just cruizing around and jumping and riding bikes off things is insanely fun for me. Tetris i can play smash bros (n64) all day, but people like the new game cube one now, and i don't htink its' as fun. finding players for the n64 version is hard now. Grand Tourismo 2 Raiden 2 (Super Raiden?) Marvel vs Capcom 2 (arcade) i defy anyone to beat my Ryu Ken Dan team :-)

Come on, if you can cream your pants over a transforming Invid mecha, surely you can tolerate these drones. He is just a label whore. Ignore him. If it says "Robotech" then its good, if it says "Macross" then it must be ripped on. This is common in RT fans, due to feelings of inferiority. I think we need to shoot you and the Gungans. Gungans are so stupid. The only cool they ever had was the submarine. And that was pretty much it. They are a useless species. In the SW battlefront, it was easy to wipe them out. Yeah, well you just wait until 2015 when you're watching the Super-Special-Special Extended ++ DVD of ESB and Vaders mask on Dagobah dissolves to reveal a certain familiar toothy Gungan...and of course when Luke removes Vaders helmet in ROTJ who should be inside? "Oh, mooey mooey master Luke-sir, yousa be helpin me take dis mask off? Let meesa look on yousa with meesa own eyes!" if jar jar never said anything, and carried a "ol painless" he'd be kinda cool. if jar jar was vader, they could replace all of james earl jones's voice acting and replace it with jar jar's voice. the best part is that they could also add in audio from silly music that jar jar is listening to inside the suit. that way when ever he talks you hear the silly music crackling over the vader intercom in his suit. its just so great because finally, lucas will have fulfilled his artistic vision.
