  3. VOILA the finished model. Going to start the animation. Still not sure where I'm going with the animation, but spring break is coming soon and I'll take care of the transformation sequences first. I might have to break out some cash to get the darn thing rendered so I was hoping for donations later o.0

  5. well what do you have for a model so far? You usually don't have to "fine tune" any of the modelling. The surfacing and UV's just need work. At any rate, in Lightwave the scene / animation editor / render engine is seperate from the modeling program. However, most other programs like 3ds and cinema 4d have it integrated. My guess is that there's a render command. In order to view the model without rendering it you can just use your perspective window with texture shaded solids. I'm not quite sure what level you're at. Why don't you take a screenie and post it.
  6. swoot, my picture made the front page! ... lol didn't notice that for a looong time. Must've passed the front page 3 times without noticing. Anyways here are some new updates, the UV's for the thigh. Only a screen unfortunately. Going to do the gun, upper thigh, backpack, and vertical stabilizers. They shouldn't take too long. I have spring break from school so I'm going to get together with a Avenger to do some rigging... not that he's been any help so far. I'll have some finished model renders in all three modes for you guys in a little while. After the rigging is done at spring break we get to do the fun parts... animating! Since i'm so close to the final product stage I'd like it if you guys could give me some suggestions in terms of what you'd like to see in the dogfights. I'll try to have at least 5 minutes of content. Also if possible, it would be nice if someone could donate a model of an avenue or part of a city or something so we can do some gerwalk battle scenes on roads. Furthermore, my tiny little computer won't be enough to handle the rendering so I'm going to have to send it off to a company to get it rendered. Depending on the costs I might do some fundraising. Anyway at this point the animation is going to consist of plain action, battle scenes, dogfights, and transformations. Maybe later when I get around to modelling other valks, battle armour, and some characters we can actually get a storyline going. Probably gotta gather some voice talents though.

  9. hmmm maybe i'll set the bump to 50% instead... detail done on wings Backpack, legs, then vertical stabilizers you see two images here, oen of the right has some minor changes to UV's
  10. yeah i was contemplating changing that, but I haven't decided yet. Do you think the rivets are overdone just by the cockpit or the other parts too?
  11. alrighty, detail work is finished on the nose... wahoo! wings next then legs. then the model is completely finished... on to rigging and animation! man this valk is so squeaky clean and shiny, if it was real it'd take weeks to clean lol

  14. hey fellas, I finally got around to getting some of this work done... so here we go. So far, no renders yet, but heres the finished UV for the main section of the plane... its only a screenie.
  15. k guys, I'm working on the UV maps right now. Unfortunately due to drivers ed, piano, kung fu classes, and a large mass of homework, I will be unable to bring you any updates until friday or this weekend. but heres some eye candy for now, its a bit old. If you can't guess what this is a model is of, either I haven't spent enough time on it, or you aren't that into sci fi.
