    It's been a clunky process according to their own reps, but you will have to contact them directly for a shipping-fee partial refund if you don't get an auto adjustment when the lowered shipping-fees during release-day (or day before release-day) goes live.

    I don't consider MP-52 as an upgrade at all from MP-11 or even MP-3. Far from it, really. It's got an even lousier jet-mode than the MP-11 mould for starters. That said, MP-52 is just a different new toy iteration of the character.

    Actually, Amz-Jp's current shipping-fee for MP-52 is just their usual expensive placeholder pricing. Actualy shipping-fees from amz-jp will be quite lower during release-day. Possibly around 1800y to 2100y guesstimate.

    We can hope that our pre-October PO pricings from AmJP gets grandfathered in. It would be interesting for shops like Ami and Manda since they already do add the tokyo-tax on their item-listings...

    The math doesn't quite add up. The pricing went up a bit today, too. Nevertheless, my cali state-tax is 7.75%. Sentinel msrp is 45000y without the tokyo-tax amzon-japan msrp+tokyotax = 49500y amzon 9% discount pricing as of last nite = 45005y the final charge for me was at 44,133y as of last night.. edit: redid the math and gotten close: 45000y (sentinel msrp) - 9% amzn-discount = 40950y 40950y + cali 7.75% = 44124y.

    I didn't mistake it. Your original assertions were: You mentioned we might get a surpise about state sales-tax. That's why I was looking if my (cali) "state sales tax" is being added as well in the final charge. It wasn't...

    errr, not sure exactly what you're really looking for. the first pic was the email-confirmation of when I ordered it. the second pic was when they actually shipped it out and my card got charged. Like just a day later. --- Let's try it with one of my po's. here's another order of mine that hasn't shipped out since it's a december-release: when I placed the order back in May/20: Here's the current non-final invoice as of right now (oct-14/20): Guess they'll surprised me if Ayu ships out more expensively when received in December?

    Prolly just standard disclaimer stuff that we've been ignoring and stuff. I think you will indeed get some import-tax if you exceed some dollar-amount threshold. Used to be any imports costing above US$200 or so back in the day (at least 10-20 yrs ago), but I think they upped that threshold-amount to US$800 or something.

    Anubis mentioned he got charge with "tax" in the TFW-thread, but I'm not sure which tax (tokyo or his US state). Maybe he can clear it up here. The one on RJ kinda doesn't make sense when adding tokyo-tax, but I don't know bleah's state-tax. add/edit: just for kicks, i tried orderin Sentinal Final Dancouga just now: item-page: final order-confirmation page: The amount would be around 47.5k yen if they're charging Cali taxes or possibly 48.5k yen or so with TokyoTax. Instead of that 44.1k-yen listed on that final order-page. Minus that relatively humongous DHL fee, of course...

    Yeah. Some 1/55 hk/tw ko/bootlegs blister-packs prolly already did them or something close. They occassionaly shows up as some ebay-listing or local chinatown shops stuff. They're not even the classic Joons of sokor. Iirc, we used to have some old 1/55 deco thread here at MWF.     That's what discussions are all about. We all challenge everyone's views and if there is something amiss. Even tho I knew you were talking about feature-creep instead, I still took you up on the design thing since that is what the recent interesting discussions about the leg-FPs was all about. What was Bandai thinking when they glued up the leg-FPs? Some factory guy messed up and so they juust roll with it? Or did their design really somehow just didn't work? I mean, Bandai does have a reputation of over-engineering and over-designing rather simple stuff. The YF-19 stabilzers, the symmetry stuff, etc, etc. :shrugs:
