well, i just got my Super-Hikky 1A today, so pix against the old 1/60...
and juz coz the original 1/60 did not come with a pilot nor a FAST-Pack...

Unfortunately, since HLJ has just opened up the pre-order for the Hikky-1A-FP for August-release, I will have to drop my preorders for the Chunky Max and Hikky 1A-FPs.
Hope you guys don't clean out the Bandai-inventory so I can still buy both in the near future, tho.

How low does the gunpod hang with the arm armor in fighter mode?

Got it a few years ago for like either $10 or $20 at software-etc or gamestop when Mechwarrior Dark Ages came out. It used to be made by Joyride. Don't think they make 'em at all anymore.
It's about 8" tall, but I'm not sure if it's a 1/60.

the toy is f'in sweet. and this v2.0 is damn light! even with the FPs and missiles attached.
yeah, i know. it ain't got diecast legs like the original yammie-1/60 so it'll be light.

Haven't gotten time to watch and do a png-comparo between broadcast and dvd, yet. Ain't got no bd-player, either.

- For such a broad fleet action, they actually had lots of useless character development, I'm sorry, I don't like Nanasei, or whatever the hell her name is, she's dead to me. Any time focused on her is wasted. My take is either they focus in on fleet action, and there could've been more done, even considering the small budget or do all these personal human interest stories, don't do both.

well, fwiw, Belldandy does have that, uhh, "winged person/entity/thingy" coming out of her back from time to time.
and lest we forget, Mizuho Kazami is a bonafide alien.

I really do like the matched purple look she's got going on.
To be fair I never even thought much about Nana-chan... she's just kind of there to me. On another forum (which shall remain nameless) it was like a support group tho, one person confessed their dislike and it was like the whole room could breathe, as they shouted "I hate her tooooo!!!"
Definitely made me curious, though, since everyone loves Nanase over here it seems.
maybe them people are somehow so threatened by Nana's boobiliciousness.

The vol-1 of Macross Frontier will be released late July-2008.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it will be the first anime tv-series that will have a same-day simultaneous DVD and BD release.
That said, if you are purchasing Frontier, which media are you getting?

alrighty, then!
pls do bear in mind that my old 1/48 Hikky-1A is still somehow retaining it's ghetto-lined (#2 pencils ftw!) self so it kinda stands out a bit from the shots, while the 1/60 has yet to find any pencil near it.
so...
