OK, where do I access this "dub" on the R2 remaster?
Pictures please if possible...
I don't think they are talking about the R2-J Remaster set of Macross Plus.

As far as I knew they were just the grand sponsor and DVD distributor and Studio Nue/Big West still owned the actual IP. the fact that Bandai is the one that made the claim is making me wonder if they haven't maybe acquired the US rights now too.
Well, you can wonder all you want, but it's really as simple as Bandai does not have to "acquire US rights" regarding Frontier to tell Youtube to disallow your upload.
Remember, unless you're living in japan right now, you are not even supposed to have that content you're trying to upload. Even if you're in japan right now, you're not supposed to upload it anywhere, anyway.

I tried to upload a clip of the song ninjin loves you yeah! to youtube cause I thought it was awesome... and immediately upon uploading it I got this warning.
BandaiChannel has claimed some or all visual content in your video Macross Frontier seven color carrot song マクロス F 七色人参のうた . This claim was made as part of the YouTube Content Identification program.
Isn't that interesting?
And yes... when I uploaded it, I didn't think to check the credits to find out the actual name of the song, which I did afterwords.
Uhh, why are you surprised about that?
You do know that Bandai is one of the owners and is also one of the copyright-holders of Frontier, right?

i'm surprised this screenie didn't come up sooner.
i thought there was a mamase, i mean nanase, fan's club here?
Yeah.
The Nanase fan club members here are quite sagging, I mean, lagging.

BTW guys, don't you think that http://i25.tinypic.com/e7ym9l.jpg thing is too much vajrish
Uh, nope.
That thing looks too much AFOS-ish.
You gotta (re)watch Zero again and then compare. Especially the last episode, as you can tell the actual form (with skin) is really quite different from the Frontier lobsters. At least, with the lobsters shown so far.

Hey dudes,
The American Anime DVD industry is dying/shrinking, we should be supporting the industry by buying originals. Granted, the dubs in the Macross series is not fantastic, but it is not bad either. If we want to see titles like Macross Frontier or Macross Zero coming to the States, we should buy originals to encourage them to bring them here.
You so funny, mang.

It was at the end of the ep.5 actually, and it was not specified what it was, but it appears to be non-variable, just a scout ship I believe.
Yeah. I'm still wondering what kind of craft it was. Looks similar to a VF-4, but not really a VF-4 at all.

Got my notice too. I'm starting to wonder if I should have ordered two instead of one.
What's the scale on the Regult anyway? 1/100 or smaller?
Don't have 'em, yet, but per HLJ, the Regult's 14cm tall. Which is about 5.5 inches in height.

Too cute not to post!!!!!

Graham or Shawn should put that up as the graphic for the main site.

I'm hoping the Quarter transforms into a big gun and the Battle25 dual wields it with its Gunship. That would be sick.
Uhh, that would be sucky.

My favorite non-mecha shot from the episode below.
Graham
Man, this is why Ishtar's still the babe of Macross: Ranka's flat on the topside, while Sheryl's flat down the bottom.

This episode gave me some speculative ideas about Frontier's storyline...
Considering the opening GITS-like cyberization, I think
Brera
is a
"Special Forces"
character let loose against the NUNS colonial ships. He is
"special"
in the same way as Sharon Apple was,
for military and political purposes by whoever is really behind the Vajra. Also, he was really just observing instead of fighting the Vajra like the SMS crew were doing. He even shot Alto's (well, Luca's) mech!
I'm rethinking now
if the Vajra are really Protoculture or just a man-made experiment by a rebel group against the UNS and/or NUNS
.

OMG!
the ep7 battles were just Total Mecha Pr0n!
and we're only at episode 7!
-
man, Sheryl's
concert-greeting
in the early going was totally reminiscent of Minmay in DYRL!

as requested...
oh, HELL YESSSSSSSs!!!!!!!
Destroid
Mayhem!

uhh, dude, you're the only one who trolled into that thread. If you weren't trolling, you would know that it wasn't even me who originally posted the Ranka-pic in that thread. See here:

nice episode, but...
I was kinda disappointed with the lack of Plus-level angst and intensity in the squabble between Alto and Michel. It was just lacking. I'm guessing they're saving up the angst for the inevitable Alto-vs-Brera fist-fight.
Other than that, the story flowed really well.
Oh, and I'm not sure if the spoiler-free zone for pics have been lifted, yet, but here's a tease:
