Recently scored the Store-LE VF-1J and thought about doing a head-comparo with the Grey-Visor, This is due to my recalling Wotafa's or @jenius reviews stating the Store-LE was of a "cool" tone compared to the "warm" tone of the original. It's a little subtle in the pics, but in person, the Grey-Visor head is just a little wee bit more darker than the Store-LE head.

Yeah, he mentions that in the main-page disclaimer as coloring provided by fan artists. But they were nice colorings, nevertheless.

Yeah, but it's not colored. Does it state there about the roundel's coloring? The interesting discussion is about the roundel's coloring. @grogall mentioned he read somewhere (possibly some mook-source(s)) that the reversed-kite roundel on early box-arts and Bandai's 1/48 GBP is due to some "aerial" classification or something. @tekering stated that official mook-sources are full of extrapolations that sometimes contradict what is canon. I posted the anime canon snapshots above to show which destroids actually were detailed sporting the reversed-kite and the regular non-reversed kite roundels. Fwiw, we usually go to M3 for full-page translated specs and stuff of original line-arts we own, and the respective TV and DYRL Armored-Valk pages on it have these nicely fan-artists colored detailed ones that sports the regular roundel: tv: dyrl: --- Depends on which shop and which shipping methods (ecms, dhl, fedex, etc) you choose. Prolly anywhere between 15% to full 30%, among other additional fees.

Fwiw, going by the anime... The GBP-1S did not have any UNSpacy Kite in both TV and DYRL: Only in the TV series did the reversed-Kite appeared on the Tomahawk: But at the same episode, in contrast, the blue Phalanx sported the regular UNS Kite: Afaik, none of the other destroids in both of the anime sported the kite at all.

hmm. Sounds like later fan-fiction to justify some of the earlier box-arts like whoever did Nichimo's. I mean, the Nichimo Armored-Roy and Armored-Max VF1 are not really quite official mechs in both TV and DYRL...

The one thing to note is that it seems all of Mandarake shops only offer DHL shipping nowadays. At least for US-destinations. In addition to the exhorbitant DHL shipping-fees nowadays, you may also still get hit with the additional T-Virus fees separately.

Now I'm interested where you got that information. Is that "Ariel unit" "ground units" etc in the official mook or something? The original line-art and anime (tv/dyrl) didn't even have the kite at all.

It's a nice Armored-Valk review. Bandai using the Nichimo box-artwork coloring for their reversed-color UNSpacy Kite-symbol on both their Hikaru-GBP and Roy-GBP armors still kinda bugs me a bit. At least they'd provided the Grey-Visor 1J-head as an extra with the Hikaru-GBP sets...

Get the DX VF-1S Roy Focker Revival. It'll be the way better pick than both the VF-19 and the VF-31J.

6000y msrp increase and a bunch of clown-hands that should've been included in the original release due to Bandai's patented exploitative- forward-thinking/tactics. A similar special stand may or may not be included. Bandai may get to be generous and may include the special-stand in a plastic-baggy with tv-missiles ala DX VF-1J Store-LE: But Bandai gotta be Bandai, so don't get your hopes up...

Anybody still want to import DX VF-19 Fire Valk as new and not pre-owned/used? Ami's still got one or so on their Sales page at 21,780y before shipping (as of this posting-time, at least) : https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=FIGURE-185514 Ami's got a slow-response thing going on these days, tho...

Arcadia's website have been region-blocked since last year or so. You may need to use a vpn or something to get to it. Alternatively, maybe one of our japan-based members can proxy for you to at least download the form or give you more info about it since they can access the Arcadia-site just fine. Good luck!

Would've been vastly preferrable for Bandai to have just opted to sell a standalone HMR Ghost that includes the add-ons for the VF-0. Like, say, what the old Yamato did back in the day for the 1/60 Ghost 2200D-A/B. Even better, innovate and include the HMR Reactive Armour alongside with the Ghost as one superb accessory pack! Would make just... so... much... sense! Instead of forcing people to re-buy the same 0S. But Bandai gotta Bandai...
