  1. They could at least give us a few VF-1's here or there with some new decals and call it a new release :/ Starved of lame reboxes with new decals for our VF-1's
  2. I been away from my 1/48 brownie (thx for the feedback everyone) for about 4 days due to having to be on-site for work Finally got quiet today so started snapping up a side-project. I almost want to paint the suit up like a black adidas track-suit, paint the feet like a pair of Adidas Sambas and add a cigarette to get that 'Slav' look
  3. Man I really want to pre-order these suckers but I really want to see how the ingram pans out before taking the plunge.
  4. ahahaha, tempting peter with more model purchases while he's in the middle of build. the life of any modeler.... (I'm buying this for after I finish my current project. Honest!!!) anywho, I decided to change my Brownie to have more traditional off-white / brown legs because the Black-Aces inspired scheme does not work on brown like it does on the grey/green of the Black-Aces. Basically the back of the valk was looking like a blob of brown so to break it up I had to make the legs in in the traditional brownie colors.
  5. moderoid Helldiver :0 https://www.goodsmileus.com/product/moderoid-arl-99-helldiver-1869
  6. thanks. Yeah I based the scheme off of the Black-aces scheme but made it a brownie so that i can have a lil more freedom and make somehting up lol
  7. More work on the 1/48 Brownie Magnifying glass was a life-saver for trimming the vernier blades Got the basic paint scheme all applied. Did a dry-fit to see how it all look together before taking it apart again and doing the detail paints, decals, weathering, etc. I'm saving my two 1/48 Hase weapon sets for my super valks that are being re-released this month, so went for some RL conventional stores as seen in some of the Master-File renders.
  8. Could be Sentinel is doing a re-issue? however there's no indication from the Japanese shops which is baffling.
  9. The legs definitely look different. Feet are thinner and the tows went from fat trapezoids to thinner ones. Calfs also are no longer fat blobs and are now more defined with sharper edges and also got a taper.
  10. It would appear that way, and for reasons not really known to us. However, can just nab the book at HLJ so *shrug*
  11. You'd assume it's like Amazon US and Ebay. Most small sellers that use selling platforms just don't wanna deal with the hassle of international sales. Also, Amazon itself is a reseller (buy from sentinel and sell from amazon webstore) and is no different from HLJ / HS/ Etc so there should be no issue buying from them.
  12. After having gotten the first three ride armors I wouldn't dare skip Houquet, pink or not. Once Fuke is out I hope one day they think about making some moon-base Mospeadas so we can get some black VR-52 F/T's and a Shinobu
  13. If the Mosepada breakers tease was any indication I don't think they'll drop the 1/12 mospeada line anytime soon, though Yellow has been floating around for a while and is still very easy to get ($199 at BBTS or 18k yen on Manda) so I wonder if Hoquet will end up being a shelf-warmer (in comparison to stick/ray who were released twice and found nowhere for retail prices)
  14. It's mainly Tamiya XF-72-JGSDF Brown mixed in with a little bit of XF-74-JGSDF Olive Drab and XF-66-Light Grey, but don't remember the exact ratios. I was eye-balling it and have a whole bottle of it now after mixing lol Thanks! Yeah, I love brown guys because it allows a lot more freedom than Hero Valks. When I make RL craft I also always do fictional aircraft so that I can be free to do whatever I want as oppossed to feeling the need to duplicate all the RL details (*mumbles something about naggy people in modelling groups pointing out "actually this in not accurate the real aircraft with serial xxxxx had a paint line more like this / that / *groan*)
  15. I bet it's a case of "looks more obvious in photos" type of thing. I don't even notice the color differences IRL for the ETA but they do seem noticeable if I photograph it.
  16. NY is open too for 23,100 https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/31887-riobot-afc-01z-legioss-zeta.html
  17. I think he meant this Link hehe https://1999.co.jp/eng/10713307 Still though Amazon JP is the best price as after discounts you basically get free shipping compared to the other vendors
  18. Amazon Japan was ¥48513 for 2 after shipping, which is basically what Amiami is charging before shipping lul
  19. 0 down, pay on release
  20. noice. Casually got an order in without any beads of sweat or Bandai Shenanigans.
  21. what's really cool is since the inbit were always experimenting and evolving new poke -inbit they can throw whatever they want into this side story for bad guys
  22. Wow forgot about that. The 2083 fits in with what I translated off the website, since the 2nd reclaimation force attacks at the same time and this side story takes place during stick's trip to reflex point. I guess that design in that older promo placard could for one of the other Breaker-team members.
  23. Looking pretty cool. From what I can understand this is a side-story of a secret recon / intelligence unit named the Breakers that was created to scout / research the Inbit. The side story takes place at the same time Stick and co are making their way to Reflex Point so basically takes place same time as Mospeada main story. The armor shown is a female armor and the boob sensors are thought to be some special sensors for finding inbit :p Seems Breaker-1 is some chick named Gate, but other members are TBA (Breaker-2/3/etc) Looks like it'll be a 1/12 ride armor toy. I guess the nice thing is the toys won't look totally out of place next to the re-imagined Riobot Mospeada Stuff we've been getting
  24. Making some progress on the 1/48 VF-1. Went for more of a black aces style black paint around the canopy.
  25. Just pay somebody to paint it for ya. The Pilot figs have a nice rough texture so you don't really even need a primer to paint em up.
