  1. I love that Saturn V - best kit ever! Its such a pleasure to build. Took a chance on the China knock-off lego on the LUT and it came out great. You could get the Shuttle in cheap China knock off lego here - I'm very tempted, but it doesn't come with the stickers which I believe are key. https://www.welightbrick.com/collections/new-arrival/products/nasa-space-shuttle-saturn-v-scale-designed-by-kingsknight And its not like these Chinese firms are ripping off Lego as they refused and passed up on making these MOCs.
  2. That's great Anasazi37 that you have a dialog open with HLJ (my personal favourite to deal with even if its not the cheapest!). I will be very interested in what you guys have to say.
  3. Oooh, which kit is this? Scale? Any good detailed 72nd kits out there of this? Hoping for a Hasegawa.
  4. I'd be interested depending on what kind of personal financial information is required to have the bot purchase it.
  5. I was wondering too. But I think I might use them, paint them black on the outside then grey colour and use a pin-vise to drill just enough to scratch off the paint to get more windows lit, because the holes they drilled are really only 1/2 the number of lit windows there are in the filming miniatures. I think this is an easy way to get more lit windows without drilling all the way through - maybe, we will see when I get around to trying it.
  6. Count me in on that!

    Bandai DX VF-31

Arrived from NY and without extra shipping costs too. Its big and cool, don't have time to play with it till after my business trip in 3wks. It's pretty big, but I noticed they only paid 2100Y for EMS - so I don't know why the other place is asking for more shipping.

Have the Chuck supers been offered up for sale yet?
  10. Amazing what a difference it makes! Great job!!! Damn you, now it seems like something I should do too. Just remember add the silver to the shock struts.
  11. Beautiful! Did you take it apart to paint the landing gears or did you paint them in place?
  12. My weapons set from NY is still in "Preparation in Progress" as well
  13. After making me go through all the hoops... wah, wah, wah...
  14. Oh well, lost out this time... sold out everywhere, but it sounds like some people here got lucky. What are the chances that this will be available at release date for MSRP?
  15. AmiAmi = " Unfortunately, DX Chogokin Movie VF-1S Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijyou Custom) "Macross: Do You Remember Love?"(Pre-order) is sold out. " Anywhere else?
  16. Cart jacked at CDJapan... ;(
  17. Access Restriction Notice from Ami Ami
  18. Any links to HLJ? or anyone else other than Ami Ami?
  19. Ah damn it! You're right. What a newbie mistake. 48mins to go. 2:12am and I've got to get up in 3hrs for work - the things we do for our toys!
  20. Hobby SEarch went to Reservation Closed! But nothing else anywhere else
  21. With all those crazy tampo markings, did anyone else notice that they missed the little yellow rescue arrow on the chest pointing to the access panel that releases the forward fuselage? Aside from the skull on shield markings behind the cockpit which someone else here pointed out. Why make up so many other extraneous markings and not include the important ones? At least they finally got the Ejection Seat triangles on this this one. Too bad they missed the VF markings on the legs especially since the first VF-1J was a TV release. I wasn't going to get this, waiting for Roy's VF-1S, but I might break down...
  22. Wow! It looks great but I'm with the way over done Tampo camp (can't believe I'm actually saying it). These maintenance guys working on these birds must be near sighted to need such big fonts - the big words make it look a bit more toy-like IMHO. I'm still on the fence.
