It's like watching the VF-27 fly around because it moves so fast

Go get my scalps, I want my scalps. A bunch of soldiers scalping Nazis is going to be cool.

Why Should Expensive Macross Toys Be Transformable At All?
kanedaestes replied to Cyclone Trooper's topic in Toys
I agree, I have yet to have any major QC issues with the 13 or so yamatos I have, never had a real issue with any of them. I like to play and mess around with my toys -
Why not? That was cool, I loved Planet Terror for all it's cheesy and over the top effects/

So far the arm hinge on the v2 1/60 VF-1S Focker is kind of a scary zone, but of the three I have they are perfect. It's up to you, the 1/60s offer better articulation and some other cool gimmicks, but the 1/48 is the king and is just impressive to have on a shelf. 1/60s are good for more toy based playing though.
-
I still love my 1/48s. Now though they are resigned to the shelf and impressive display pieces, I like the 1/60s for better articulation and that fact I can play more with those without things flying off, or FPs scaring me. 1/48 is still king, but the prince 1/60 are just a bit more fun for day to day goings.

Since SHIELD is used in the newer movies with different Studios, that FOX isn't working with there probably will never be mention of Ole Logan and SHIELD.

Him and Sabertooth fought a lot together during various wars. That's not a black nightcrawler he is a mutant who does teleport, I forget his name. As a fan you seem to be missing a lot of info, Diamond Girl is Emma Frost, though she never original had that power, not until her second mutation when Cassandra Nova was running around.

Here is a pose i posted in another thread, but there will be many more to come.

first one is better

Blade wasn't known and yet it turned out decent flicks except for the last because Wesley who was a producer was also a fan of the comics. Hellboy wasn't that big a neither was 300 yet those have been better than most.

I want to shop at that place -
It's all about depth of field, which I love when people take kick ass depth of field shots. It doesn't all have to be in focus, just the subject of the pic, and everything else can be a little blurry.
-
Yeah I know about the grainy pics, my P&S isn't that good when it comes to adjusting the ISO for low light areas hence I want a new camera. I have some skill in the field but I do want a better camera none the less.
-
You sir have impugned my honor and my skillzzzzzzz, lol. I shall accept thy challenge by offering these shots using my current camera in low light, since my office is lit very low. Enjoy and criticize!
-
Ouch, I have skills as proved with my great grades in my photo class and I've been a military videographer for years, and an okay camera but I know I could really pull the photos I want to pull with a DSLR too.

Fair enough, and I understand. I was just making a point that the price isn't always going to drop on these types of figures anytime soon. Besides as someone who owns a Beagle I would suggest getting one too. Funny enough though the Beagle costs more than this by at least $40.
-
If you don't want to pay the price, then don't buy, more for the rest of us. I for one will definitely be buying one, I am really looking forward to this one.
-
Really because I have seen tons of people buying these figures. They are in stock because the demand is high so they keep producing enough to satisfy demand. Why go and sell out of something when it is still selling very well? If people weren't buying them, Yamato wouldn't be spending so much to produce every kind they can with all new paint schemes. Just about most people on these boards have a v2 1/60th or they are waiting to get the ones they want like the VF-1D and TV VF-1As Max and Kakizaki.

But how long did it take for the Proto Garland to drop, that has been out for years. You are saying in a couple of months this will drop $70 dollars. Not likely. Plus this is an item that fans all over want so it isn't about freshness. Also this isn't a repaint of an existing figure. It is a retooling that people have died for ever since the terrible shoulder joints of the original. The 1/60 YF-19 is still going for $187 dollars on HLJ and that was released 3 years ago. The Proto Garland was a repaint of sorts of an existing figure. Yes I know they also did some remodeling to it but it wasn't that much. You should look at the prices of new 1/60s starting off with the YF-19. Hell even on sale the SV-51 is still $130

I would tell them I am not sorry for my comment, and show them the footage and tell them instead go to Fox and get them. Then let me direct the damn films. I believe the problem is they give these films to directors, and not directors who are fans. Look at Spider-man, with the exception of the 3rd on due to studio involvement they were pretty good because Sam is a fan. Robert Rodriguez is a fan hence Sin City was so kick ass. Mark Steven Johnson says he is a fan but is clearly not, and barely a director which is why Daredevil and Ghost Rider sucked so bad.

http://hlj.com/product/YMT00078 http://hlj.com/product/YMT00086 http://hlj.com/product/YMT00090 and these have been on the market since last year, actually close to a full year and the VF-1S had QC issues and they still go for $127 before shipping. Also these are about the same size as the VF-11B so your point isn't valid.
-
That is because demand for those isn't high. Not too many people are buying them and they need to sell them so put them on clearance. Now go look at the prices of other 1/60 scale stuff, newer stuff and that's a different story. A stand alone v.2 1/60 is $80, throw in the fastpacks and we are talking $120 roughly. This is a valk with better stuff than it's original versions plus FPs so of course the price is high.
-
Yeah seriously, I want to go up to Fox and shot them in their empty heads.

As far as X3 goes, well that's what you get when you have Brett Ratner do a film.
