Yeah I didn't notice it right away, but as I was taking photos of the VF-27 in fighter mode I saw that it was cracked. I have since glued it to preventing the part from completely snapping off. The pics you requested below. Thanks you, the filter is reducing the amount of glare and give you more the color of the valk. Thanks! Glad you got the 27, its a beautiful Valk. I am guessing it checked when they placed the valk in the tray. As disappointing as it is, I put the CF head and I think looks good displayed with the VF-27 Brera. Congrats on getting your VF-0A and the pics are looking good! Spanner here are the pics you requested -

Thank you spanner! The VF-27 is my favorite of the Frontier Valks. especially the VF-27y (if they would only release ghosts for it). I can do that, but do you want the commander head on the fighter or the standard head? The reason I ask is because I swapped for the standard/CF head to display because the antenna/head gun was cracked when I opened the box. -

That is awesome ArchieNov! UCS Star Wars lego is something I have to stay away from because they are dangerous to the wallet. I have to keep my collecting tight. -
I finally had some time to process the photos of the VF-0A.

From what it looks like the hinges are bare plastic. I had not noticed it till you pointed it out, here is a pic I took with the laser pointed forward on the head. Its angled to the right.

Thanks! I would not have had the Yamato VF-0S in my collection, but a friend of mine sold me his MIB for a great deal. The Arcadia is much improved over the Yamato, its far more stable, the joints are tighter and over all better. Thank you! The ankles are ok, its the extension that is blown out. It barely holds, I can extend it but the slightest movement causes it to collapse. So rather than mess with it, I put the VF-0S into short mode because it would be in the background. I think I am going to put the VF-0S back into its box.

Processed a couple of shots, hope you guys like them. More pics soon.

I agree with you the 27's gun is huge and makes it a pain to get posed, but I'll see what I can do for poses. Its a long weekend, I can get them all done.

Thank you everyone! Glad you like the photos. hehehe.. Cool, because the lens filter wasn't cheap, glad its doing its job. Yes, I was thinking the same thing when i was processing the photos. The reduction of glare/reflected light makes it look better IMHO. Cool. Thank you. I am always trying to improve. Thanks Spanner! I think the 27 is slightly less poseable than the 25/29. I have posed the 27 in the past and I was able to get into some pretty dynamic poses. I'll be trying this weekend, the VF-27s will be getting their photo shoot. I am hoping the shots turn out well. Hehehe... I'll be doing the photo shoot for the 27s this weekend, maybe those photos may change your mind about selling. Thank you, yes I put the new filter to use and I think the results turned out well.

@no3ljm I just compared the VF-4G to the VF-0A, they are very close in color, from what it looks like the 0A appears to be slightly darker.

Ranato Thank you for posting and doing the translation, that was a very interesting read.

Thank you, and I'll take a look at them both tomorrow and let you know.

hehe... its an optical illusion I think you'll be quite happy with the VF-27β, I am pleased with it, and best part is now Brera is no longer alone in the display he now has a wingwoman or wingman. @Derex3592 is this ok? and for those that are curious here is the pic taken without the lens filter.

Mahalo! I am using a lens filter that reduces glare, that is what gives it the satin look. Yay for new camera gear! I'll see what I can do for ya! Thanks Spanner! I am liking the green on grey. You gotta free one so it can be swooshed around.

The change in background appearance (darker) because I took the photo at a later time, it was cloudy so less sunlight was coming into my apartment. I was using the reflected light from the lamps and the camera was at a different angle. Ok, here is the fixed photo, the green was too bright earlier.

Yeti, will your VF-0D Fighter Adapter work with the 0A?
-
That is awesome that you can make a fix with your 3D printer. I checked the hip ball joints of my VF-0A and it seems to be ok for now. Will you be selling the fix parts on your site? I had the Arcadia 0A standing next to my Yamato 0S for side by side comparision and the 0A does look a bit more leggy, but the proportions look fine to me. It might be because I have been looking at the Frontier Valks and they all are leggy.
