  1. That looks awesome Duymon!
  2. A combination of camera angle and lighting. I try to avoid direct lighting, primarily use reflected light and if I need to use direct lighting its diffused.
  3. Yes! My job is done. Thank you Sildani! Now that would be an awesome job! If there was ever a chance of Bandai hiring me, part of my hiring conditions would be to reissue the 25S and 25G as a web release. *Sigh* one can only dream... Thank you! I try to cut down on the amount of glare off the figure surfaces and helps greatly reduce the toy appearance. Haha.. maybe I should start a Valkyrie Uncensored website. When is yours due to arrive?
  4. Nice!! Is that the last piece you need to complete your fully functional MK. I Armor?
  5. Thank you! After you mentioned it does have the ME vibe to it. ME is still one of my favorite games, weird ending and all. The joint are tight, I even think they are tighter. Swiveling the hip joints back to go into Battaroid mode was quite a chore compared to the VF-25A. Thanks you David! Thank you, I would recommend adding one to your collection. Get one it is really nice to see in person. You could paint it. Thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate it. The floor doulbe reflection was really bothering me, I used clear plexiglass sheet beneath the figure to achieve the reflection and that would cause the double/blurry reflection because the figure was being reflected off upper and lower surface of the plexiglass. I am using a new material for the base and now no more annoying double/blurry reflections. TCracker thank you, I really need to learn figure action poses from you. Thank you. When I first saw the YF-25 the thing that I liked the most was the head, the color scheme was ok. Now that I have it, it has grown on me quite a bit. Taking pics of it was great, the colors just make it pop.
  6. Thank you, its my pleasure to share my photos. I am too and I have to say the YF-25 is the most photogenic of all of the Frontier Valkyries. *Bonus pic*
  7. Thanks Gakken that helps a lot. All the items I looked at had nothing in the comments so that's a good thing.
  8. Gakken, I have been browsing their listings and wondered if you had any experience with item being damaged? Not shipping damage but the item sold has damage (scratch, cracked etc.). I see their rating system on each item, would you happen to know if they make notes on the listing if they find damage on a item or is a safe to assume that a "B" level item is damage free?
  9. Yes,the Prophecy will be fulfilled. haha Thank you! I gave up collecting most TF (I only collect combiners now), and Gunpla. Yes, the VB-06 was on my list to hunt down, but now Bandai has made much easier for me to get. The hard part now it balancing toy collecting and getting new photography gear. Happy MW Birthday to you too! Thank you. You are correct, the F and G are waiting for their Tornado parts upgrade. My plan was to able to display each variant with the upgrade parts, I am still on the hunt for another G to able to display naked, super and tornado versions, with Alto I am set. I have something I want to try, but I'll save that for when the Tornado parts are released. I like the 171's but the problem with the cracking triangles on the CF version really bothers me. I would bug me to no end know I have a set of 171's and one of them is damaged. I know I can just keep it in fighter mode would be best way to keep them from cracking, for now I have decided not to get 171s but that Luca 171 is really nice... I will eventually get a YF-21 and 11B, I hope Arcadia releases them or I track down Yamato versions, but tracking down Yamato DRYL VF-1S Super/Strike Roy and Hikaru are high on my priority list. Thank you Gakken85! My bank account isn't too happy with them. LOL
  10. Thank you no3ljm! Happy first birthday to me! Haha. I even have a present arriving tomorrow for me.
  11. Thank for the info, I thought maybe Bandai packaged the pilots differently with the YF-25.
  12. LOL! The "maybe" was put in there for a reason, so I can say didn't commit to what I said. I already know I won't be toning it down that much. I also want to get a new camera before the end of the year though.
  13. Thanks for posting Duymon! I can rest easy now I know that the scratch on the lerx is not a bad production issue. Were the pilots packaged or already in the cockpit? update: checked my tracking and its in SF.
  14. I went a bit overboard on purchases, one of them was given as a present to me from my friends. Thank you, its my pleasure to post photos (I have to justify my other hobby of photography somehow) and I am glad you like them. Thanks close313, it was a fun year for Macross purchases, I'll need to tone it down now... maybe...
  15. Thank you, and yes I am planning to get VF-1's, and VF-0's probably not VF-19's though since I am not a big fan of M7. I focused on Frontier valks because are more readily available and can be found for decent prices, now I move on to the Yamato's... Thank you, that's on my list too. Thank you, it is nice having a toy or 2 arriving every month, its like 12 months of Christmas. LOL
  16. TCracker those poses are great, you are the master of the action pose!
  17. After I had posted I read an article about the discontinuation of the Expedit line and change to the Kallax line. I understand and agree with IKEA's reason for the change.
  18. I checked the tracking on my order and looks like mine will arrive on Tuesday.
  19. Yes, its nice to have the variance in colors with all the fighters, its to the point I don't even notice it anymore. Thank you. That is exactly is what makes this community so great! Thank you, glad you like the photos and I will keep posting. I have asked friend/MW member if I can take some pics of some of the rare Valks he has. I'll definitely post those. Yamatos are on the list to acquire. Thanks, I am doing my research, learning about all the different Yamato releases and it looks like the DRYLs are the ones I want to get. I don't need to have all the variants, Roy and Hikaru VF-1S Super/Strike will be enough for now.
  20. Thank you, its good to be a part of this great community. I wonder what the next year will bring... a lighter wallet is for sure.
  21. That's a touch call, I myself want to stick with the 1/60s, and getting in late in Macross collecting the 1/60 was the established scale. If I had started early on I would have probably bought the 1/48s also. Also Kicker's collection is something to behold... Valkyrie Magnus collection is amazing too, but I have only seen a few pics of it. Maybe one day I'll post in the wanted section for Yamato DRYL VF-1S Super: Roy and Hikaru.
  22. Thank you and I am currently trying to figure out a display solution. Thanks! Thank you, and I really appreciate your kind words about my photos. I'll keep posting them, next up for photoshoot is the YF-25 as soon as it arrives. I need to find a Yamato DYRL VF-1S Super Roy and Hikaru.
