Jenius, I enjoyed your review of the valk. Very nice and detailed analysis as usual.

Coming from my experience with the Isamu and Alto, the fighter mode really pops with the super parts. I'm sure you'll appreciate the Ozma once the super parts are released. Battroid is different, but the sleek fighter is pretty cool.

Bad or patchy qc on this one. Picked up a third one to try my luck, but there are blotchy areas of paint and/or glue on each copy I've had. Joints are right thankfully.

And Bandai will rerelease all the valks in the new matte finish.

Now it's a matter of time before they announce the new colours. Anyone think web exclusive?

Bandai will be too lazy to add anything and also it'll cost a pretty penny to remold. Probably be a straight repaint.

They swing out from two hinges, but needs a bit of force to get them open.

Horrible paint patch on the diecast leg part of my second 30, near the intakes. Like someone scrapped off a large portion and put a different shade of paint to conceal it. Took the waist joint apart and switched the legs with my other unit.

Any good tips on removing sloppy paint apps without ruining the plastic?

My first 30 was super tight and I was genuinely surprised. However, there was the stained cockpit issue. My second one just arrived, and the paint job is sloppy in places. At least the canopy isn't dirty, but I guess it's a crapshoot quality wise. Considering getting a third, but I am seeing the Bandai qc and considering a pass. It's a shame they can't get tighter quality control at the factories, as it really is a great piece of engineering.

It's great, apart from a few minor paint problems, and the articulated hands can't tab the weapon properly. You must use the firing hands to hold the gunpod tight.

My second unit is incoming. Should be out for delivery tomorrow. Let's see how protected AmiAmi packages are. I've also discovered that the articulated hands can't grip the gunpod properly. The tab it inserts into keeps popping out. Using the firing hand is the only way to secure it.

Brand new for $91. You're gonna cry now. I got mine for $86 from my usual guy as he gives me a discount. The Chronos is jumping up in price too.

I just doubt they will have enough stock. At least with us lot, we don't believe they will, and we don't want to be unsure whether or not we have secured one. November is a long way away, so it's nothing but speculation, and that's what we spend 90% of our time doing before each release anyway

The reason you can't find much info on not honouring preorder is because they usually don't do items which get shorted like valks. I'm certain that it's one of two possibilities now: A) Bandai are printing valks like there's no tomorrow B) Play Asia have no idea that stock will be tighter than a squirrel's nuts

Use them now and again. Used to use them while I was still in the UK. Didn't need them after I moved overseas, but they are quite a trustworthy company. Problem is, will they be able to secure the stock, considering the limited nature of this valk? With video games, they are usually open for preorders on limited or hard to find items only when they have it close to release or in stock, so with the Ozma, I have no clue how they will secure their numbers. Maybe it's a sign Bandai are changing their production numbers, as I know Play-Asia don't usually do POs for valks.

If you need any more, locally the tornadoes are going for $91. How much did you pay for them?

Don't give Bandai any ideas! If they produce an Ozma or Roy 30, I dread the PO insanity.

I'm seeing plenty of stock locally, which is boding well for this and future releases in terms of supply, but the scalpers are still out. Saw some going for HKD 400, or around $50 more.

ff95gj, Animate took preorders for this valk. Making me think they will do it for others, but they seem to choose based on popularity. Asked them about the 25S, but they aren't opening preorders for it, due to high demand.

I think so. The pelvic area requires a downward push to disconnect from the main body during transformation, and if I remember correctly, it's held by a pair of screws at the back. Correct me if I'm wrong though...only transformed it last night.
