  1. Lol...cool enough. Gives me some reading for tonight too.
  2. I'm surprised too that no one's commented on the full body shot of Megs from the upcoming movie. Check it here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/imagehosting...a4321b149ff.jpg
  3. I think the Invid footage is a recap/recall of the end of Next Gen, before getting down to the rest of the story.
  4. I was wondering about his extra extensions too. I'm sure I'll get him regardless, but I always liked the barrel extension on the original Megs.
  5. As of right now, I'm even more sold on it than I already was.
  6. For those of us that are following IDW's comics, Chris Ryall posted the first pic of their Galvatron on their forums, as done by Alex Milne. Check it here: http://forums.idwpublishing.com/cgi-bin/ik...1;t=2567;st=300 or here: http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewtopic...1665461#1665461
  7. An image of Barricade from the upcoming movie seems to have surfaced...check it out here: http://www.harbx.com/archives/2006/12/barricade_early.html I have to admit that he looks pretty cool...
  8. Incinerator was one of the names they were initially going to use for him (along with Vortex, I believe). Blackout is the official going name, though.
  9. Interesting...the alt modes look great, I think (especially Barricade), and, although it's not what I'm used to, the robot modes don't look terrible. Bumblebee especially doesn't look as crumpled as he does in the movie pix.
  10. Sadly, I remember it too. The Haydonites' planet, Haydon IV, transforms into a giant, Unicron-sized mech, and destroys most of a fleet with its arm cannon. As I recall, it was destroyed by a Karbarran ship (the bear-people ) that flew inside its superstructure and rammed something critical, I guess. As for this new trailer and RT: TSC, I'll probably watch it just for the nostalgia factor. Before becoming something of a Macross purist, Robotech was my big intro to anime (and to Macross). I don't have high hopes for it, though, although I'm curious to see how they resolve the SDF-3's dilemma by the end of it.
  11. In some movie news, Ratchet's robot mode seems to have been revealed...check it out here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=116584
  12. Part of the whole MP mold thing is that Takara/Tomy will want something they can get at least one or two repaints out of. Starscream was ideal for that. Me personally, I'd love to see MP versions of the Aerialbots.
  13. That's what I'm thinking too, about Meg's repaint. Or they could do him as a Megaplex repaint...I think it was an e-Hobby exclusive (or something) when they re-released the G1 Megs. A duller shade of silver and blue instead of red, as I recall.
  14. Forgot...in case it gets taken down, it's also in a TFW2005 thread here. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=116141
  15. Aint It Cool has a pic up of CGI Scorponok from the upcoming movie...check it here: http://www.aintitcool.com/images2006/RunTyreseBig.jpg Thoughts?
  16. You might be thinking of Jetfire from the Classics line--the figure is based off his appearance in IDW's Transformers: Stormbringer. This version was designed by Don Figueroa, I believe, and looks like a cross between Skyfire from the series and the original Jetfire toy.
  17. I'm looking forward especially to seeing the finished versions of Barricade's and Bumblebee's alt modes...especially 'Cade, since I've got a huge man-crush on the current Ford Mustangs.
  18. D'oh! Thanks, Veritas...forgot to include it...too much turkey yesterday...
  19. Some more pix of alt modes from the upcoming Michael Bay movie have been posted online...check the link for for Bumblebee, Jazz, Bonecrusher (?), Barricade, Scorponok, Brawl, and something else I'm not sure about.
  20. He actually looks a bit more spindly in this pic...but I'm still pleased overall. Curious to see what accessories he comes with too (gun extensions, silver sword, etc.).
  21. Alternators Swerve? He was pretty hard to find, as I recall, at least in my part of Ohio. I found mine at a TRU, but that's the only time I ever saw him in stores.
  22. I remember a friend of mine had that trainset...I damn near broke into his house to try and see it, and when I finally went over to play one time, it sucked. Its transformation, such as it was, was not what I had in mind.
  23. So far, from the Classics line, I've gotten Astrotrain, Starscream, and Hot Rod. Scream's my fave, of course, but Astrotrain's a lot cooler than I thought he might be--even his train mode.
  24. I saw both of those, actually, and I thought they looked pretty good...but I had to pass on them due to tight finances. Regretted it, too, although I don't have any place for them right now...
