Simpsons is the greatest prime time show ever... EVAR!!! Just look at how long it has been going. Stupid shows that aren't funny don't run 14 years! If this movie is their grand finale, well then its cool with me... That family has given me more to laugh at than any other 5 shows combined. All good things must come to an end, some have trouble accepting this, its like my Girlfriend, she can't understand that WE have to sleep SOMETIME!

Why lock it? I like this thread, it would be slightly better with a picture of me though... If anyone is interested in my opinion and you all should be it seems to me that Nanashi takes the whole "I scaned it in so it is my copywritten material" thing a little too far. BW owns that stuff, you have a fan site about it therefore you can display it without infringing on the BW's ownership rights, but you need to crank the "I own it" stuff down just a little.

We all need to realize that its only a matter of time and we will have US releases of most all Macross products... HG will get broke and realize they need to cut into their margins to play. If there is Money to be made they will all get off their high horses and write another agreement if it is necessary. Remember both BW and HG have something in common... They both have failed at everything that didn't involve Macross.

I didn't think I'd ever see the day Agent ONE used the word "Cute" Huh!? Minmay is cute... My GFs ass is cute... My baby pictures are cute ... In my younger days I liked to nail "cute" chicks, now they seem too young or something... Most of my porkings in the latest episodes of the uber exciting life of Agent ONE would be considered more "hot" or "bonable." Perhaps a more "classic beauty" is what I thirst for now.

I actually think that the name Conan shouldn't ever be used again unless Arnold decides to do "King Conan." Absolutely! I will only buy HG products that are quality... That has been my gripe with them over the years. I don't care who owns who's rights or what the fukin deal is from a legal standpoint... If HG produces good products like the Animego set I will buy them. If they product garbage like the RT remasters (Who the fuk would remaster a hackjob?) I won't purchase...

Robotech is like watching Hamlet in Jive, then having the "writers" change the story to make Army of Darkness the sequel. BFG-1 Gigan, seriously you came to the right place... You will understand everything we are saying once you see the original.

I wouldn't really take it that far. It's really due to Robotech that Macross has a large fanbase in the states, granted it wasn't in it's original form, but it's influance was one of the major ones way back then. Also it was kinda inventive on how they edited and cut and pasted the three shows togther...I mean it's certainly not a hack job like Fox's Escaflowne or Cardcaptors... Hmm. You must have seen a differnet Robotech than I did... The Robotech I saw had bad and obvious music, and severly changed characters over SDF-Macross... Not that its bad, but WAY different. You mentioned you haven't seen SDF-Macross... You really need to see it. The characters are completely different, especially Minmay, Focker, and Misa.

Robotech is an offshoot of Macross, just like Charles Manson is an offshoot of Jesus.

LOL!!! That thing is nuts! I would have to be really crazy about Alien to get that and I am not, so I won't. If there was some kind of DVD holder Macross style that was big and crazy like that I would get in a heartbeat though.

If you live in the US, pirate is the only way you will own these DVDs... either that or you can shell out $200 and buy a Japanese DVD player, Keith did this. He knows more about it, and I may be wrong about the price. I have to say I really have admiration for guys like Keith who buy a region free/Japanese DVD player just so they can buy the real deal Macross stuff.
