  1. I like it... it makes it look less factory-new, and more like it's been used for a while, as opposed to a few-month-stand-in for the VF-1s soon to be issued.
  2. dod you mask that conopy before you primed?? cause it doesn't look like it to me! How would you get Mr. Surfacer off of it?
  3. wow... I can't wait for Hasegawa's release of that thing... even thought that one will still be outstanding... my big question is HOW?
  4. That pic may be of Roy's plane after he miraculousely survived that rock-slide that Ivanoff created... Looking great Mr. Cheng!! Question: What kind of airbrush do you use... I used to be content with my old badger... but now that my skills are progressing... I find it can't do fine lines that well, and am looking to upgrade.
  5. I can't wait till I get mine... but I think i'll do a slightly personalized version of the DD Ivanoff scheme... what are the dimensions of the kit (other than "freaking big-by-freaking huge!")?
  6. well, this is the pic that comes from the starship modeler reiew of one of the clear valks...
  7. Ya i've been following that one... it'll really help when i start mine (once i get off my lazy butt and buy it...), along with anther of WM Cheng's awesome reviews, this one on the VF-0S... Since my parents (i'm only 17 here... and going to school so i'm poor) don't like ordering stuff online (we ordered from HLJ once with no problems, but they're techno-peasants) I have to rely on what I may find somewhere... Anybody know If there is a good store for the Macross line from hasegawa in the West Edmonton mall? I'm going to Edmonton on a school trip next sunday, and I am hopeing to not need to buy more models for a year...
  8. I always thought so too... though it does look outstanding with the junk there though...
  9. I thought the destructo-dummies the ghost tears through in M+ were just remote-piloted VF-11s... I'll have to watch it again...
  10. How does the VF-0 compare to the Tomcat in size? I know the -0 is bigger than the -1, but has anyone compared between the tomcat? and have pics?
  11. For my YF-19, I used Reaper Miniatures Pro paint: White leather... it looks really good (very close to how the plane looks on my tv screen when I watch the movie)... and it was in 1 color, no mixing.
  12. It seems a little too pink... I don't know how to fix it (maybe another coat of clear red?) but it looks pretty good!
  13. inacurate-nothing! I wouldn't care, I'd still brag if I had those skills in 1/72nd scale! pluss... since these are obviousely based on the tomcat... the handles fit...
  14. and I thought that I had a probelm with unbuit models... I only have 7on deck, and currently completing my VF-1S, VF-1D and YF-22 (all on the go right now), and most of the unfinished ones are only awaiting me to get off my big-lazy-butt and paint them... jeeze... some of you could be rich if you hadn't spent all that moey on unbuilt kits... LOL... my parents say the boxed i have take up too much room as it it... this is all too funny! hehe, building que... that is quite clever... I like it!
