  1. yeah, gotta have a clean model. even after one coat is down ya still gotta wear gloves to be 1000% sure.

flaking...my only experience was that i used too much solvent in my airbrush and to much distance away from the model. the paint was practically drying in the air before it fell on my model. it looked good at first but i could scrape it off with my finger/toothpick. it didn't come off in flakes, though

  2. future floor wax is a great sealer.

i hit my models with it after my basecoats are down. that way washes are easy to wipe off if i don't like them and i haven't damaged the paint underneath.

after the washe are in and highlights, i hit the model again with future. if you don't want a gloss or semi gloss finish that future gives, hit it with flat clear for the final spray.

  3. Jorawar, (in my head i keep saying it Jar-o-war, hehe!)

    instructions/decals:

I would want $220 + shipping/paypal fees for my original.

I also have a decent recast sans booster rockets/weapons/decals and it has resin landing gear instead of metal.

I would want $120 for it.

Let me know which one you want and how you'd like to pay. (michaelwaynenellis@yahoo.com for e-mail & paypal)

Send me your address and I can estimate shipping.

  4. THOR,

IS that an original club-m VF-11? If so if you want to sell it let me know....

    I am also looking for a VA-3

    Jorawar,

I'll check tonight to see if it is an origianl and post pics of the parts, etc.

  6. Some pics would be cool - maybe throw a body part in a couple for scale? What are we looking at (ballpark) for shipping? I'm not worried about speed though I am a packing Nazi and don't mind throwing in a few extra bucks for bubblewrap and whatnot. Thanks again.

Send your address to michaelwaynenellis@yahoo.com so I can estimate shipping.

I can wrap each piece individually. I paid around $25-$30 bucks shipping CT to OH.

I'll post pics in the next day or so of the kit with some references to see it's size along with pics of the areas that have the crack(s)

The kit is big & heavy.

  7. Understand unassembled. What kind of shape is it in otherwise and what are you asking for it? Thanks.

I think I paid $250. I can send pictures. There were two cracks in it from shipping. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with minimal skill.

There is a broken area on top the main body where one of the big guns slides into. I saved the piece that broke off. It would be an easy fix with super-glue and putty if you thought it was needed. I think there is also a small crack started at the face/end plate of one of the arm-guns. It's at a weak point with all the heavy resin around in the box. I think some super-glue would handle it and the piece would be stronger when glued to the rest of the parts.

    It is so huge!

  8. Anyone know where I can find one of these? :)

I have a 1/72 Monster I could sell. I don't think it's the exact one in the photo. I was just about to build it but could use some Christmas funds.
