  1. 90% complete in Solidworks. drawn from as many screen shots i could find. i need to make it 3d printer friendly and then also, mold friendly... the next decision will be scale. I can print it in almost any scale... of course i need to add the muzzle and do some detailing at the back of the gun... let me know what you think because i had to guess on the cockpit and gun.
  2. ...it doesn't get much cooler than this! yeehaw!
  3. just wanted to make sure i'm on the list for this... way cool!
  4. i hope to have the hands/knees/intakes/legs/backpack done this weekend in the computer and will order stuff in 2 weeks. it'll take another 2 weeks to get the masters. a weekend to make molds and start casting...
  5. awesome! i love that you share with us your thought process. keep up the great work!
  6. Huh, No interest in 1/48 Gerwalk mode parts?... Maybe after I cast up some pieces...they will come. Maybe 1/72 will be more interesting
  7. Trying to make it so you just plug parts into the Hase 1/48 model without having to hack on plastic. The knee portion will take a few nights to look right. Here are the 3D bones in Solidworks: My version of a blended-wing-bomber (for kicks in 1/48) Let me know what you think about making the leg joint "frozen" rather than moveable (sp?).
  8. awesome! looks like the girls had fun!
  9. ginormous! 15" inches tall when done in battroid? that'll make the beta "ginormous-er"
  10. i use alclad primer/filler. need laquer thinner to clean airbrush and MUST have a vapor respirator. i also have a spray booth the pull the harmful smell out.
  11. yeah, gotta have a clean model. even after one coat is down ya still gotta wear gloves to be 1000% sure. flaking...my only experience was that i used too much solvent in my airbrush and to much distance away from the model. the paint was practically drying in the air before it fell on my model. it looked good at first but i could scrape it off with my finger/toothpick. it didn't come off in flakes, though
  12. future floor wax is a great sealer. i hit my models with it after my basecoats are down. that way washes are easy to wipe off if i don't like them and i haven't damaged the paint underneath. after the washe are in and highlights, i hit the model again with future. if you don't want a gloss or semi gloss finish that future gives, hit it with flat clear for the final spray.
  13. it will look nice on my hase 1/72 & 1/48 yf-19. just gotta add windows & innerds...
  14. payday is friday! sending it then...
  15. nice! keep it up! this thing rocks!
  16. Mike, i'd like to contribute...would you like me to make you some weapons? stuff below is in 1/72nd, 1/48th, and 1/32nd ...10 days to have 1/24th
  17. i'll post pics of the resin conversion set later when i get home. it slims down the calf area. also got the 1/100 battroid minus armor. very sweet mech.
  18. i love it! bigger is always better when it comes to macrsoss! keep up the great work! what scale? 1/18?
  19. what scale do you need? i can draw/print anything you want if it will fit inside a shoebox...
