    Right but as far as materials given to license holders so that they can make a product based on the VF-4, I don't think any of the line art from the Musasiya kit is used. So a lot of the more obscure minutiae about the design is considered unimportant. Some of the text stats from years ago carried through like the presence of hard points or an optional gun pod, but the specifics as illustrated in artwork are not recognized as being a part of the final transforming design. Like the VF-1 is so well documented with artwork depicting all aspects of its design that date back to its creation, while the VF-4 has more a split between when it was finally finished and a lot of older artwork was simply forgotten or omitted. It's kind of like how most Valkyrie toys and model kits do not have underwing pylons if the artwork does not depict any.

    Yeah the VF-17 in DM VF-X has an external gunpod on the game model. I think they got the idea from the old Bandai toy since you can plug the gun in around the arm. The VF-4 never had a gun in M3 and that old line art is back from before it got revised so i don't really think it's relevant anymore

    DYRL VF-1 WIP

    I thought the Battroid illustrations from the second VF-1 Master File were pretty well done. Although with the way they mix CGI, model kits, and other artwork it always seems like no one was on the same page as far as what the VF-1 should look like.

    It only has a gun pod on the promo poster. In game it just uses its arm guns as vulcan cannons.

    The Gamlin VF-22 wasn't limited so much as they actually told us the production size when announcing it. This VF-4 is a web shop exclusive and may be made to order.
