1/60 v2 = 8 1/48 = 1

Hello It's been awhile admittedly since I kept an eye out on Yamato VF-1 news. Especially what has been happening in the 1/60 range. I do own a few VF-1's in 1/60 scale... unfortunately all of them seems to be the versions with shoulder issues... Although I don't transform them often if at all. I just saw.. yes very late... that Yamate released a few weathering version which I think looks great. My questions are: Do the VF-1S and VF-1J Weathering versions have the shoulder issues as well? Is there or are they planning a release of the Weathering version including the GBP-1 armor (as I am also looking for the GPB-1 armor). I looked at the NOOB thread and links to the reviews but saw no mention of the weathering versions there. The VF-1's I have are: YMT00078 VF-1S Valkyrie Roy Focker YMT00090 VF-1J Hikaru Ichijo VF-1D (initial release) VF-1A Hikaru Ichijo Premubly most above have the shoulder issues. Anyway, I am hoping to pick up the Weathered version of the VF-1S and J and some GPB-1 armor... Your feedback is most welcome. Thanks, Gian

Took her out of the box and she sure is a thing of beauty! The thing that amazes me is the way it looks in all three modes.... simply great! Very happy and quality is top notch...

Got my VF-1D V2 delivered from overdrive today at work... so excited... have to wait till I get home though. I hope there are no flaws on it.... How is the general quality of the units so far recieved? Maybe I should have got two? Hmm... not that is just plain greedy

I went ahead and ordered the Ivanov as the color scheme is by far the nicest and the price is too good to pass up on. As stated it won't be transformed too often so I hope that it won't be too bad out of the box. G

I got my YF-21 yesterday and was just awing over it in Fighter mode. I didn't do anything, no transformation... and a piece like that came out of nowhere... so I cannot find where it came from in Fighter mode... I will try and look at the arms as suggested. Hope it is not broken. Thanks, G

oh dear.....

Hi I love the fighter mode of most Valkyries and was wondering if someone is doing a nice line of non-transformable fighter mode valks... I do want accurate profiles so I hope there is something out there like that. I guess almost like pre-built and painted Hasegawa kits would be nice Thanks!

IC.... good to know... I presume it doesn't just fall apart straight out of the box? I really don't transform the stuff much anyway and really keep them in fighter or Gerwalk mode.... Oh well, I'll have to take it as it comes.... was just too good a price to pass

Weren't the VF-0A without Ghost booster reissued with improvements? I just got the VF-0A standalone and Ghost booster standalone sold together from Ebay for a pretty good price. So i guess I need to keep my fingers crossed? I emailed the seller and he said it was pretty new stock. Cheers, G

Hi Shin I will check tonight for a comparison between the 1/48 and 1/60 shoulders. I do have a VF-1A Low Vis... as that is one of the older releases will it still be valid to make the comparison? Ok so I am finally home and have been admiring both in fighter position. I do have a comment about the Roy one... The one head laser is kind of loose and if not positioned properly hangs down in fighter mode... Also the one rear nozzle is a bit loose, but otherwise they are gorgeous.

Hi All I recieved my VF-1S and VF-1J with FAST packs today all the way from HLJ. Sitting in a box next to me here in the office. Cannot wait to get home and have a look. Hello I just wanted to ask the experts here regarding forthcoming availability for Yamato's VF-0 and SV-51's.... I guess also the YF-19 and YF-21's I want to complete my collection but I really can't buy them all at once. Having just ordered a couple of 1/60 VF-1's I need to wait a good while. I do want to check as I was looking on Ebay and the VF-0 and SV-51's are really expensive.... Is this a sign of limited quantities? Or rest assured there should be plenty of releases for the VF-0, SV-51, YF19 and 21 over the coming year or so? What I am trying to get to is it a grab it while you can thing with these or is there room for some breathing space till I can really afford some more. Cheers, G
