I kind of had to fudge as I don't know the "scale" the 3.0 will be, I know its going to be between 1/50 and 1/60 (yep, there is a good possibility its going to be bigger than the Yamato) I designed the Muzzle cap and the diameter of the bore based on a 1/50th scale of 16" (about 406mm), making the bore .32" (about .228 for the v2.0). Its going to be intricate to put together (its very very tiny). But I was able to dry-assemble one out of plain paper, my pocket knife, and a piece of tape. It looked awesome! Wish I had it at home to take a pic of it.

well (speaking from the fact that I know a few people on "medication") there is the belief that if the medication "controls" your simptoms, and you are not a danger to yourself or others... your "fine" (well as long as you STAY on your medication) Now pretty much Guld only seems to be a danger to Isamu (ok so there was a "incident" 10 years ago). so theoretically in 2040 they might say that those that stay on their medication are "flight worthy". But Gulds problem was more "Genetic" than a mental defect... that might create some kind of "resistance" to his medication, but has been able to control it until Isamu appeared. As for the conspiracy about having Isamu and Guld "ruin" the project... its very very likely, and believable

Is sitting center piece at my dining room table. I can't wait for my next "session" to work on it. I spent about 6 hours lastnight while the machines were running making "barrel inserts" to cover up the "open" barrels. Now I just need to figure out what else needs coverying up when ver 3.0 is put together. I also created some new "warning" graphics, not sure if I'm going to use them or not. Too bad they are at work. EDIT---- I made a collage... err... colage... err... how ever you spell it Nother EDIT---- I made a new COLLAGE

At the end of Day 4 (forgot to take pics for day three) Things are progressing pretty good....

Ok.. 'bout time for an update! First I had to go shopping at a craft store. came across Elmers Glue-All Pens... They are very expensive compared to normal Elmers glue (4 tiny tubes), double the cost of a medium bottle of Glue. Figured with a small nozel I could use them for fine stuff and the big bottle for the big glue jobs. Well I can say this, once I opened one up I discovered they are refillable!! I recommend to anyone doing a paper model, pick up one of these packs and a bottle of glue to refill them... they rock! Also I did figure out quickly, but not quickly enough (had to do some surgery to some parts) that "open" and unsupported areas require some reinforcement. Found out the hard way when I tried to stick the shaft on the legs and the opening on the legs tore.

:puts on asbestos suit: I personally want to state for the "record" I have not seen more than an episode or two of Macross 7 including The Galaxy is Calling Me. I have not seen enough to make a definative statement about the series. Fighting with "music" seems like a stretch, but I want to see more to make my own judgement. I found it "Interesting". I personally listen to the Macross 7 soundtracks and the "Mylene Jenius Sings Lynn Minmay" and I like them. But, one specific song I can refer to (of which the name is in Japanese)... it sounds like Mylene is yelling "Itchy Cootchie Bang Bang"?? I find it just plain annoying.

I think 1/100. LOTS 'O Resin In comparison to size, is it gonna be as big as a home desktop printer? nah, at 1/100th scale its gonna be fairly small. If its true to scale its going to be 8.844" tall, 16.181" long, 3.84" wide. maybe the size of a very small personal printer.

Well its possible that the true "owner" probably has it in storage... and if you don't pay your storage bill... hehehe the Storage owner can sell your stuff with or without permission... your storage bill has to go 90+ delinquent. -just a thought
