    Did you know, the 1/60v2 and VF-0s threads also started with sceptics very much like yourself today who said "Come on...its just 1 or 2 occurences..i'm sure its an isolated problem" until a month or so later. With macross toys, its sorta like a time bomb.

    The quarter's sculpt is amazing....which was my main concern coming from a Bandai toy. Hopefully the quality and joints stay on par with their other stuff. I'm probably asking for much but hopefully it can maintain the pose where its holding its macross cannon with both hands. Btw is this confirmed to be part of the DX Chogokin line? Oh and OT, the X-gears shown behind the Quarter looks pretty decent too.

    Actually they kinda took the best of all 3 arcs and made their own anime-original story whereas the 1st arc contributed to most of the story. But since i watched the anime 1s, i found the whole plot of the Holy Grail kind of lacking like why is everyone fighting for it if it can only cause destruction and i can't exactly remember but i felt the end was too adrupt. I had to search online to actually grasp what was happening towards the end. But hmm...won't it be interesting if they released an Unlimited Blade Works arc anime?

    During the Berserker fight, Shirou has to replenish Saber's mana.....let me assure you the way depicted in the game wasn't like in the anime.

    Wasn't Amuro an Earthnoid? it wasn't the matter of earthnoids can't be newtypes (cuz they can) but you have to be born one. You'll become crazy if you try to make people into newtypes. Oh dear......

    Night Raven looks pretty cool...though the shotgun thingy is kinda lame..... i might be getting that. Accelerosuit....is kinda creepy.....reminds me of the robotic mule somehow. PS: no idea of old GIJOE toys cuz i was too poor to afford them when i was a kid.

    Try out Bounen No Xamdou next. Similar to Eureka 7 and made by Bones....though i personally feel it fell short on what it could've been and did not live up to the expectations that Eureka 7 set.

    Up to episode 19 of Toaru Majutsu No Index. The show is pretty entertaining with some interesting characters ..... but man do they talk alot while they fight. There's some loose connection with biblical powers/magic and lotsa mumbo jumbo being thrown about but if you can ignore those and the obvious lolikon pandering....this show is pretty entertaining.

    Maybe tieria is no longer connected to veda? We still don't know what kind of range are we talking about in terms of QBW. It seems only people in the immediate viscinity can feel another's brainwaves/presence. Anew is usually pretty far away when she gets "pinged" so does the Innovators have some kinda neural fold network ala Frontier? And if Ribbonz wanted 00 so much, why didn't he just snipe Setsuna and kill him off when he had the chance rather than getting Ali to shoot Setsuna in the arm? Would've saved Ribbonz tonnes of trouble in retrieving 00. Veda's calculations were screwed up again? XD

    The whole "shinigami" thing is getting old.....and the reactions on their faces makes me LOL. But watching the tanks getting pwned by Zakus was awesome.

    Pretty sad how Yomi turned out. She's like the Kerrigan of the GaRei universe by the events of the manga too. So you're admitting that you like anime designed for little girls huh? I haven't watched Princess Tutu but in the same genre is Shugo Chara made by Studio Satelight (Yes the studio that did Macross Frontier) which isn't bad for a magical girl anime, though some have argued that situations and decisions made by Amu will not be realistically encountered by a real girl her age.

    Was macross ever mainstream? But generally yeah, Gundam and Macross (to some extent), was targetted at kids to teenagers back then due to their major tie-ins with toy companies. Nowadays they try to capture both the old fans and new ones as well. And old anime being old, was still in the era when anime was made targetted to kids so there really wasn't anime targetted to adults back then , despite some of them having adult themes. As for the newer series of Macross post Macross 7, i'd say they were targetted at the teenage to adult (old fans) range. The formatting for Macross Plus/Zero/Frontier and how they are presented (OVAs, late night airings) is an obvious indicator.
