Apart from kakizaki homage, the last episode was kinda dry and boring might i add. The rest of the other cast didn't even get any lines. And no tsuruya-san in swimsuit. Pretty weak episode.

I just got Yamatoed yesterday. >_< I was re-posing my YF-19 in battroid and was quite annoyed with its overall floppiness with the arms but then as i was posing i discovered that the shoulder/armpit joint connecting parts R-1 to R-2 (the right shoulder to the right arm) has broken. I tried to see if I could repair it but it was beyond repair. Getting to the joint wasn't easy as well since the guy that screwed in my arms did it till the screw philip head was totally ROUNDED. >_< Anyway the joint is more or less disintegrated and i have reassembled it best I can. Its loose and limp as heck now but still attached.....already contacted Over-drive for replacement parts. I think mine's the 1st reported case of broken armpit/shoulder joint for the YF-19. In case you guys are wondering, my YF-19 is a 1s generation without FP version.

I really don't think Scott of HLJ is that kind of person having met the guy in person. After clearing it up with HLJ, i have concluded that these unexpected shipping charges are just a matter of HLJ's automatic system assumptions based on their rigid policies on shipping. Everything can be found on their FAQ. So it would be wrong to think that they mark up the shipping price since they don't earn anything on shipping. I did throw the feedback back to them on it and hopefully they will upgrade their system to be more flexible in terms of shipping types and how it bundles shipments.

Really? It would look like that's 2 parcels vs 1 parcel meaning it should be more expensive to ship 4 valks rather than 2 valks. Are you implying its the same price with EMS? This will be the case if its purely EMS. When SAL is involved, things become more complicated. I found out items costing above 15,000 yen will be auto-upgraded to EMS despite initial choice of SAL. (due to costs + insurance concerns). My items was 13,500 yen which was below 15,000 yen but due to the bigger than SAL small packet box, i was upgraded to SAL Parcel instead of EMS. And hence more expensive and less quick shipping. Most people would hit above 15,000 yen anyway if they have big/expensive items so this is usually no problem. But when there's sales involved, lots of these weird stuff happens. >_< If you ship stuff exclusively with EMS there shouldn't be a problem with unexpected shipping charges.

I was quite disappointed to find out that SAL shipping for a 1/60 Hikaru + Super/Strike packs became SAL Parcel instead and i had to pay a very big premium on shipping. For those who intend to buy the big Yamato stuff from HLJ, just go with EMS....its cheaper and faster. I was abit annoyed that they chose SAL Parcel despite being more expensive than EMS. There's no way I could find out what shipping method they will choose for me (mine is by default SAL) in my stuff can't fit in the normal SAL small packet. So advise to all is.... DON'T BOTHER TO SAVE WITH SAL SHIPPING especially for big stuff like the Yamato Macross. You just might get a more expensive shipping than you expected.
