  1. Battletech was released in Japan with "anime-fied" mech designs. Not sure that Kawamori did them.
  2. You know, you could get it through "normal" means and guranteed you'd get everything in the collection instead of HLJ's randomness. Like for the K&M figs http://www.xl-shop.com/xlshop/pages/produc...uctId=KM-030262 and the Mission 3 http://www.xl-shop.com/xlshop/pages/produc...ctId=BAN-220394

    Custom K&Ms?

The scale is abit wrong though. The regults are supposed to be bigger. But that's just me nitpicking.

    Custom K&Ms?

And of course, the coolest gashapon custom diorama ever...... http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/magazi...il-hj-page1.jpg http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/magazi...il-hj-page2.jpg http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/magazi...il-hj-page3.jpg http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/magazi...il-hj-page4.jpg

    Custom K&Ms?

I'd advice against that. These are not MW-ers customs for one and the pictures were taken off a public japanese toy site. So I don't think "stealing" pictures would be a wise thing to do.
  6. wow...the invid mecha were THAT small? I had the impression they were about the same size as a regult, and the Enforcers were huge *(!&@*(!@ badasses.

    Custom K&Ms?

Sorrry...its their anti linking system. Copy the URLS and paste them onto a browser window http://toyup2.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/im...40228123917.jpg http://toyup2.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/im...40228124222.jpg http://toyup2.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/im...40228123917.jpg

    Custom K&Ms?

Check these pictures out: Pic1 Pic2 Pic3 If i'm not mistaken, these are from the K&M series and he got a whole fleet up by customising them. Or....there were more mechas in series 1 @ 2 that I thought there were.
  9. I thought it was common knowledge that the prequels in Star Wars really HAD better technology than later because they still had them cool un-sanctioned technology before the empire's reign. Technology was simply lost during the rebellion or sanctioned by the empire. Technology even during the time of the Old Republic was over the top uber ness. But this isn't a star wars thread.....

    Q-Rau Review Now Up

LOL! Not enough a** for you? The freaky thing is I dreamt the review was up yesterday night and sure enough this morning, lo and behold its there. GASP!! Graham: You stated in your review that it is very poseable with 32 points of articulation, but the pictures don't really show much so i'm kinda doubtful. I was just wondering could it pose the famous "missle barrage" pose. ya know, hands hugging the body, slightly crouched and all missle pods opened? That's the final factor that would make me buy/not buy the Q-rau. PS: Oh...and do the knees bend and thighs move? Thanks.
  11. As do I my friend.....As do I.... Only to be joined in by Gamlin, Firebomber and gang later. Edit: Doh...i was thinking of Miria only Light the light.
  12. My most memorable and favourite Macross song would be Xiao Pai Long. Ya know why? That's the song that got stuck in my head when I played the NES version of Macross ages ago before I watched Robotech about 2 years later and then SDF Macross another 2 years after that. Its nostalgic. 2nd would be DYRL and then followed by the M7 songs...most of all HOLY LONELY NIGHT!!!

    What are these

You think there's enough here on these shelves to buy a decent car?
  14. Prime's at an disadvantage. VF-1S has a Strike Cannon.
  15. the pilot arms are have different between kakizaki and MAX kakizaki I just cut off his both arms than split the right arm into 3 parts and change the angle (need make some operation) and join it again but the max one ... because I lose his right arm, so I recast it by using " blu-tack" if I do this job again, I will take some photo for you Thanks mate. Recast with blue tack? Uhhhhhh....sounds dodgy yet interesting. I'll have to see what you mean by that. hehehee.
  16. May I ask, how did you repositioned the arms of the pilots? I wanna reposition mine as well. Kinda snapped one arm off the dodgy glue job....but I can't figure how'd you reposition it without recasting a new one...
  17. excellent work! Love your poses as well!
  18. Again, you're arguing semantics on the definition of "hardcore fans". You're totally missing the point. But its ok. I've said what I wanna say.
  19. I don't wanna argue the semantics , ok? You can call yourself hardcore fan or uber hardcore fan. But a person who likes Macross just because its Macross, even if its crap is more a rabid fan than you are, if you don't like it. That's just all i'm trying to say. Its senseless, of course. But that's what fans, which are short for fanatics, are. Personally, I am very afraid of Trekkies. Personally I don't consider myself a hardcore Macross fan. I don't particularly laud Macross 7, just like most people here who don't mind it but wouldn't introduce it to friends. So I guess I don't have the same uber hate towards Macross 7 that 50% of MW does. That's all.
  20. The Q-rau indeed looks nice. How much does it cost for those who have pre-ordered? MmMMm....shiny.... Abit off topic, but the M&Ms on the magazine scan has black canopies! w00ts!! But the ones shown in the Wonder Festival 2004 thread still have their red/blue canopies respectively. So...what color are the canopies gonna be?
  21. 9999....uhh...is that in USD??!? It had better not be....
  22. I didn't want to judge people on who's a "real fan" or not. Maybe I should rephrase it. Probably "hardcore fans" ? Again, I take Star Wars 1&2 as an example. We all know how crap the shows are. SW Fans know how crap it was. But its probably the hardcore fans who stood by it, just because its Star Wars. Regular fans who loved the old triology were disappointed with 1&2 and how different it was from 4,5,6. I apply the same situation here in Macross SDF right up to Macross 7. I seem to be the former in regards to Macross 7. I just loved Macross and was more willing to love anything Macross, even 7. Sure I was kinda disappointed at 1st, and then I tried to love it. And you know what, eventually I did. BOMBAH!!!
  23. which episode and when was this topless misa pic at??
  24. Yeah...but it wasn't the kind of culture shock that effected the zentraedis totally unwilling to fight. I'd say it was something mild, compared to listening to Min May sing. Radd: I totally agree with you there, especially about your quote from Arthur C Clarke. But i'm just hoping its not something too corny. I never thought of it as magic, but they will probably say "these people's (anima spiritia?) DNA have some kinda genetic code that allows them to.....do uber powered thingos....". I don't know. But we'll find out soon enough, hopefully. On an unrelated note, sometimes I think Basara is the illegitimate child of Minmay and Kaifun. Kaifun drilled anti-war into Basara and Minmay taught him how to sing.

    yamato 1/48

N00b question, but why doesn't yamato release stuff in the same scale with each other? IE: The Macross plus and Macross Seven lines, were not 1/60. Macross 7 was 1/65 and Macross Plus was....1/70-something, and later, Macross Zero at 1/100. Is it because the actual scaling of the planes are too big to be released in 1/60 thus making it not viable to release as toys?
