I have that toy as well...gosh this toyline was shortlived but freaking cool. Die-cast goodness with variableness. I can't remember the name though. I just knew it was cool. I still have the uber big GOLIATH tank , although the control tower broke.... (ouch...i blame little brother). Its this giant tank/carrier, which opens up into a carrier of sorts and has ramps and stuff to deploy tanks and a runway for your little die cast jets to take off on. It even has an elevator for your tanks in carrier mode into the 20 odd parking bays on the back of the control tower. Pretty awesome toy line. Oh, and there was another toyline....X-panders i think it was called....they had this cool futuristic plastic soldiers, and their vehicles literally "expand" as they make these hissing noises (gear powered) into battle mode and whatever u call it. OMG...i totally forgot about these until I saw the pictures you posted.

Believe me...those are crap. I got the Escaflowne one and its utterly crap of a model figure. And I'm still hoping there's a masterpiece edition of Escaflowne. The current Yamato ones were pretty bad....boxart, and all.

Wasn't there a time when construction flaw on toys were considered rare and collector's items?? Of course in Yamato's case, its common thus defeats the purpose of being a collector's item.....

Not sure how many people on the boards collect misc anime gashapon like i do. But if you do, you'll probably like these. I think most of them are generic clothes and accesories, but there are some anime cosplay ones, which of course i'm most interested in the Asuka and Rei ones. And this dude already did a custom Stikfas.

I got a MPC Takara Prime, and Smokescreen, and a Hasbro Dodge Viper.

Costume play....basically dressing up as a character. Mostly coined for anime characters.

Stupid question: I don't own a PS2 and am very interested in these online gaming..... Does the PS2 connect to games through the Internet/online games through your usual ISP DSL/Cable etc? Are the online game servers international?

I'll kill you if you're just making this up...... But anyway, there's an anime out which takes place somewhat in the same universe as GPM. It was Mars Invader something something. A new mecha anime which apparently is so weird that you wouldn't even think its in the same universe. Anyway, the GPM game is apparently quite revolutionary. It has a dating sim on it, but you can choose your role. You can be the commander/class president, the pilot, the mechanic or the support team etc. Its prettty cool. Then your classmates will fill in the other roles automatically. Your relationship with your friends also effect how they react to your commands, story progresssion etc. E.g: you pissed off this pilot chick during coffee break, she's not gonna listen to you much during battle when you're trying to win the mission. The game sounds interesting. Too *(!#&*(@& bad its not translated. There was a new GPM game coming out complete with 3D graphics, but I'm not sure if its out or not.

If you're looking for some mecha action, this title isn't for you. The mecha and action takes a backseat. Heck, the main alien invasion plot takes a backseat and is left unresolved at the end. GPM changes focus after the 1st few episodes to focus instead on the relationship between the 2 main characters. IE: This is a romantic comedy, folks. But despite that, me being a sucker for romance loved it. Others would think othewise. Just some advice for ppl who are expecting some mecha action.

Well...i finally decided to go buy it today and ..... it was GONE..... FESS UP! Who got it before me? Nah....just kidding...now i have money to spend on them FF Trading Arts figures. Hopefully them reissues will come out and they will be cheap.

Or maybe he just runs off with Sarah, and live happily ever after, swearing off war.
