w00ts! Excellent! As expected from last episode's preview, Lacus...or should I say, Mia, becomes Zaft's Min May to calm their hearts. For now, Dullindal seems to keep having the upper hand and always 2 steps ahead of the EA. One wonders if he's just being nice only to turn his back at the end and eradicate Earth once he gets the chance. If so, one also wonders at the possiblity that Neo is actually not affliated with the Blue Cosmos but he knows Dullindal's true plan (which included the use of Abyss, Chaos, Gaia and Saviour)...and the tables will turn again from good guy to bad guy and vice versa. Ahtrun gets "entrusted" with the Saviour. Kira and Lacus looks at the sky and worries about what the future holds for them. Cagali is frustrated....no decision from her yet... But from next episode's preview, it seems like Orb will again be attacked by the EA.....peh....

Its more like its paint chipped due to all the movements and entering the atmosphere..... But to be more anal....doesn't the color come from the phase-shift armour and not its actual color? So an actual paint chipping on blue and red wouldn't occur i imagine.

Yeah, I missed that aspect of him. I hope he begins to lighten up in the sequels. Actually I've always confused manga Briareros with manga Batou. They share many similarities. They both have the big build, co-stars beside main heroine, and have a sarcastic nature unlike any other anime/manga character. But the anime version of Batou (movie and series) is just so angsty....behhhhh! Feels wrong. Movie Bria seems to be goin down that same line.

I'm curious what plotholes you're referring to? I had no problems with plotholes, but then again, I'm familiar with the sotry. But both my wife, my friend and his wife understood it perfectly fine. The only thing I needed to explain to them were certain words and phrases which have specific meaning in the Appleseed universe. Ditto. What plot holes? I guess the only thing that could've bothered me was the large amount of characters but lack of development for them. But then again, I've read the manga so i guess I might be biased when I say they had ample development. And also Briareros wasn't that filled with angst. He's a funny sarcastic guy in the manga.

Sweetass! I found the Meister part funny. Sweet how they incorporate stuff from G1 and GIJOE into the story.

I'm not sure what people are whinging about , but this movie rocks! Way much more than Innocense was. That is if you're not an anti-CGI freak, I thought this movie was pretty good. Sure they kinda sped up the storyline from the current 4 vols of the manga, but I think it was all good. Kinda spoiled the manga if u ask me by revealing all the plot twists.

From what I understood, you only needed 'great spatial awareness' to use the Mobius Zero's weaponry.. which doesn't require you to be a newtype, but it certainly helps. That would be why Mwu was the only survivor of the Moebuis Zero squad. The fact that he's a newtype let him use the gunbarrels far more effectively than the others. Who is the pilot of the Dagger with Gunbarrels? Is he your average grunt or someone like Mwu with "great spatial awareness" ? Well anyway I was just stating that INCOMS were more "user-friendly" compared to the funnels. So maybe Seed would have something similar.

Not a star wars geek....so I have to ask a related question. In the OT, was Luke supposed to be the only Jedi left after Yoda died? I remmebered Yoda saying that he was the last Jedi before he died. But shortly after the fall of the Empire, there apparently were enough Jedi to make an Academy for....so I'm now like....confused. Did the new Jedi suddenly pop out of nowhere after the emperor died? The Jedi themselves were down to one. However, there still were many force sensitive beings throughout the galaxy who were unaware of their potential. In the books, before Luke starts his academy, he goes on a campaign finding force-sensitive people to join his academy. So Jedi are force-sensitive people trained in the ways of a Jedi knight. Its like you might have all the qualities of a Marine but aren't a Marine until you actually join them and train as them. Ok...i thought being a Jedi is like a race thing. I am born a Jedi etc. ok...now i get it. Thanks!

Throw in INCOMS usable by your everyday Natural while you're at it. Actually, the Moebius Zero used wire-guided gunbarrels, so that's basically your incom right there. But only the Newtype pilots could use those. Incoms can be used by normal people and are mostly computer controlled. And Incoms use reflector bits, and aren't really fired from the bits. In the EX-S , the head fires a laser which is reflected by the Incom reflectors on the knees, which use I-Fields to reflect the laser to its target. Sounds complicated to me. Calculating the angle of reflectrion itself is killer i reckon. And I read that incoms only move 2 dimensionally as compared to 3 dimensional movements by bits and funnels.
