It was pretty hot here in MW when it came out. Surprised you guys didn't catch us raving about it here in the forums. Me and Anubis and a few others were also abit annoyed at Tokyo Central for lack of an email response for our late shipments....but it reached us eventually....

wtf....just saw the trailer. I see Alien-like monsters....and Carnby doing some bullet-time bulllet dodging action....and he was sorta commanding a whole SWAT squad?!?! WHY OH WHY is my childhood raped again..... Whatever happened to the 3D polygon English gentleman Edward Carnby? Now we have a tough as nails...very American guns-blazing Carnby. WHY are people giving people like Boll video game licenses to make movies!?!?!

Those would be Racaseal from Phantasy Star. They were posted along with the EVA Manga Rei figure as well. Unfortunately only available at Wonderfest in sprues. U gotta drill your own holes and stuff.

it was just mentioned elsewhere on this site that there is bootlegs of the rei out there on the market and the packaging and stuff almost seems identical to the real release i do not know to much about it. i do not known if yours is different because it is a slight error, a bootleg or if it just vary's from the ones on the box. do you have any pics? Bear in mind that there are also legit HK releases which are identical to the Japanese version just the packaging and the manga printed in Mandarin.

Maybe its those that connect to the cannons that Graham was saying its holes are showing enlargement after a few transformations.... Sorry not sure where those pegs are...on the body somewhere?

The Rei figure came with the manga and was pretty cheap actually. I got mine for about USD10 MRSP, IIRC. As for pictures, I'd show you mine but my website's down.

Whenever someone says something like that, it seems like they're saying, "Well kids are stupid, they'll eat up any old crap that's tossed at them." Of course, a truly solid show, one that might be called a classic down the line, is one that appeals to kids, but also adults. You meant "NEW CRAP" didn't you? Didn't meant it that way though. Its just that we're grown up, and there are still kids today just like there were kids back then. Consider this. Would your parents have bought a G1 Prime long ago then and go "OMG THIS IS COOL" ? G1 TFs only have nostalgic value. We were kids then, so they appeal to us even now. I'm not really into the new transformers now so I'm not sure how popular are the new ones to the kids today....but i'd say they'd probably be very popular considering HASBRO is pumping the toys out. So maybe when today's kids grow up, they'll look back at GF Convoy and say how cool he was etc. PS: I really doubt G1 TF appealed to our parents...if that's how you gauge classic-ness, assuming u were refering to G1 TF as a solid show.

Bear in mind that transformers is trying to appeal to the kids....not us old nostalgic foggies who can't accept change. I didn't liked the Energon designs. Superlink was ALRIGHT..... but this one seems like it could get somewhere. Regardless....i'm liking Starscream very much.

the zamzazzar looks like something Zeon/Zaft would design, and not the EA, being green and crab-like and all. That positron reflector that it uses is a hack.....can anyone say I-field ? Is it the same thing that Hyperion uses? Shinn being a berserker kinda ruined him as a character imho....but who knows. Berserker powers seem to be reserved for the young and angsty bishounen in Seed. Angst gives you berserk powers.
