Does anybody knows if NY can be asked NOT to send an invoice with the package or estate a lower total value? I'm considering sending my Spartans directly to my place and taxes on chinese products here are crazy high.

I think a TV GBP IS possible. Actually, I'm sure we'll see that eventually. Just not anytime soon.

Another 1J GBP at this point would be pushing it too much from the commercial standpoint, IMHO. We already have the DYRL version (with wrong colored TV missile tips) and the standalone TV Hikaru. Both too similar products to add yet a third red stripped VF-1j.

I'm more into SDFM myself but I'm happy I got the DYRL version of the GBP. That's a good enough TV version for me. 

Bandai seems very focused on SDFM right now (which is great for me, because I'm more of a SDFM fan). DYRL will likely follow with enemy mech and VT's and VE's and whatnot (which will give me a good break, since I care very little about most DYRL stuff) and then we'll probably see miscellaneous mecha, like Mac Plus valks, Mac 7, Mac 2, etc. I'm very excited about what time will bring. I've been drooling over a Hi Metal YF-21 ever since Bandai published these proto pics years ago. 

Cancelled my preorder. I was very hyped about this, but after taking a closer look I couldn't justify the price tag. Now I'm more excited about Arcadia's. It's been a while, so I hope it's not vaporware.

I'm under the impression that Bandai started with the Spartan because they know is commercially the weakest of all the Destroids and they can make up for it with the other three if doesn't do great, so I'm glad they went that route. I'm not sure we would have a Spartan is they saved it for last like Yamato did.

I'm all about enemy and support mecha when it comes to HM-R's. Kinda bored of the VF-1's and the 1/60's are insuperable. That said, I'm getting every VF-1 in this line, because what's the point of having all those baddies and support mecha if they don't have them to fight and support? I'm planning to build a diorama with this figures eventually and it'd look empty without the VF-1's.

Sweet! Take your time. Actually I was being sarcastic since I just saw your Matchbox Destroids review and man were those lame toys! But if you're willing to give it a shot, I'll be delighted.

Right. Let's hope the shipping fee stays as is. IIRC, the change in Roy's was due to them not taking the extra stand box into account. I don't know what was the issue with the DX 31, since I'm not into Delta.

Is NY all that bad? I'm considering ordering from them instead of HLJ this time around and getting two instead of one. Does ordering multiples at the same time mean saving on shipping?

That was probably me. I placed two orders and cancelled one. I don't want any troubles with HLJ. Still deciding if getting a second one. I'd like to display them in a diorama, one swinging out the club and the other opening all hatches, but I'm afraid it'd look too busy with all the mecha that is coming.

IN my experience, they have just canceled the extra order I made for me and there was no retribution on their part but better safe than sorry.

I ordered the Spartan twice, but after the "We got your order" window, HLJ keeps saying my shopping cart is empty and I haven't got a confirmation eMail either. Should I wait? Is this normal?

Judging by the screencaps provided by Bandai, looks like whenever there's more than one Spartans in the show, one has the number 2 marking on the red hatch and the other has a 5 on it. There's room for a simple customisation there even if Bandai doesn't include the alternate markings (deciding if I should order one or two).

$116 is not too bad for a 1/6 figure. I might get one. I hope we get to see Roy next.

Any word on Rick's MSRP? I don't like the "certificate of authenticity" gimmick. Sounds like an excuse to charge extra.

Thats one of the things i like about SDFM, The main character isn't the best pilot, not even the second best. Different from most shows at the time.

Is the neck on the TV 1J's longer than the GBP version?

I'm into SDF Macross, so I guess I'll save me a bunch of cash skipping on DYRL valks (EXCEPT Super O and Elint, cos' those are too cool to pass up).

Got my payment request from HLJ. Too bad the Mexican Peso is so low right now, but I was incredibly lucky to get a preorder at the last moment at one of the cheapest prices possible, so I guess I can't complain.
