  1. I've had 6 DX valks, and had 0 problems. But for you guys missing parts, I mean that's just stupid And arrogant that Bandai won't aide customers outside of Japan, customers are customers. I feel like Bandai exc's are the Dorks from Tokyo drift talking about Gaijin's. They call up HLJ " why you selling to Gaijin's Scott?" Even Bandai America gets the shaft, most of the Bandai items in the states are toys made for 3-5 year olds.
  2. If you read Ami Ami's pre order BS fine print, it says they can go after you legally if you don't pay for your Preorder. For that reason alone, I expect a nasty email when I don't pay for my only pre-order. Oh well, you should allow people to cancel them!
  3. I'm starting to guess... A) no option parts B) Arcadia is going to release a stand, since the description says stand attachment.
  4. It's made to order, so it's limited to how many sell in preorders. Preordered, 140$ is within my window, especially with Option Parts And a stand, I mean that's DX zone without the normal mark up. God I love HLJ and being able to buy from them.
  5. Well if you can fix the one seater to a two seater, you got three valks worth Of mods, VE, VT, and the 1D.
  6. Web exclusive is the smart way, build to order. The more they order the cheaper it becomes. Moving bottom line is a good strategy. If they get 160$ ea, cost is 100$ ea. for 1000 units. Factory will probably discount for more, which would just Increase profit margins.

    Macross figures

Minmay looks good, she's in my private warehouse still.
  8. It's from WAVE, they have a series of Hanger kits, square and Hectagon. It takes 4 to make the one you see in the pic, about 60$ worth. But it's pretty much a perfect fit in a detolf. You can change the scale, by adding another Level or whatever. Just make sure you know what the main look of the hanger will be, While its a snap kit, disassembly does not end well.
  9. I still love the 1/48's, especially since you can get more Detail.. Finally had time to create my hanger.. Well just build it. I might change scale, but I dunno yet.
  10. I think it was just friendly ribbing man, never hesitate to translate anything. For the rest of us that picked a more unuseful second language, we ask... Please Mr translator! translate another!
  11. Just have faith man, they seem to be a pretty big Helmet company, albeit new and upcoming.
  12. NY buys up stock from local stores last time it was discussed. The higher price is to reflect their higher cost. I have no quarrel with NY, they are doing it better, At least I can actually get this stuff, if I dare not camp out All night F5ing.
  13. Thanks for the heads up, finally pulled the trigger.
  14. You mean back to moaning about Bandai!
  15. Hilarious, delete the post before the fandom folds into the sun.
  16. I say we worry about more schemes after they deliver us these two.
  17. Same price as the 30th valk, so this one is probably a prebuilt/painted version.
  18. Looks like a custom of one of the kits, but it's anyone's guess. Or if anyone translates the page lol.
  19. I got mine from HLJ, I was just at a HTUSA and they didn't have squat for good Tamiya product. Oh well, it's fun, I've gone to town on some non- macross crap, to play with before I actually get onto Valks.
  20. It's a replica of the guitar from the show. It's a signature ESP, 3,500$ is about normal. I think a Hammet edition runs 2,900$.
  21. Yes the panic buying should be over. I would think over time, Arcadia will release the higher Demand valks.
  22. Lol the Basara guitar is almost 4 grand. I'd rather have a high end Musicman or something. Hopefully this means more. I'm getting one just to celebrate the anniversary.
  23. Same price as a bandai, only it will have all it's parts and not be broken! Why so serious? Plus the tampos on that thing definitely run up the cost.
