i have some problem with yamato and there money making schemes buy changing heads and paint jobs.

IIRC, Yamato wanted to release them with the switchable heads, but it was Big West that turned the idea down. It don't feel that it's a money making scheme as it is just business. Asking for switchable heads would be the same as asking for stickers that we can use to change from one color to the other. After all, it's just different paint schemes, right. The fact is we just happen to be fans of a show/movie that contains the same mechas with slight variations. If they were all different, then it would be a whole other show entirely.

Whoops, just to correct myself, the Bat fanflick is called Dead End.

Highlander 5 is called Endgame.

The first refers to PM's. If I turn it off, will it also disable subscription notifications?

The second is the autosubscribe feature I mentioned in my first post to this topic. I like that feature, and in any case I don't think it matters whether I subscribe through autosubscribe or manually--either way, i get email.

NB, there's a checkbox for email reminders in your mesage control center. You can turn it off.

Honestly.... we don't get to see much of the first Alien. Watch the directors commentary on the DVD and you will see that the main point was to show the alien as little as possible to add to the atmosphere. In Aliens that was thrown out of the window for a more action, lighter toned, movie, with plenty of Aliens to go around.

That still wouldn't explain the missing transparent dome difference, if you leave it up to the host characteristic thing. Unless people on LV-426 all had some kind of receding hairline syndrome, in which case I wouldn't stand too close to those athmosphere convertors.

Nah. Like someone said before: In Alien, Giger design and limited technology couldn't avoid the "man in suit" syndrome. In Aliens They were done crouching to make them more feral and scary. They mostly human hosts there in LV-426(?) so in theory they would look just like the one from the first Alien. It wasn't until Alien3 that the whole host characteristic proposed. They didn't even use that in the fourth movie, because by then they were all genetically altered. Don't know much about the comic books, speaking specifically in movie terms.

The Thunder Hammer/Hummer would be great but it was a fan custom. You never know though, the low viz was a custom too, but theorized to be coming out in M0. I would love to see it too.

OT: there's no need to reattach an image that's already stored in the servers as it takes up unnecassary space. You can put up a link to the original image when you hit reply and there's an IMG button.

1/60 YFs would be the perfect scale. Big enough for the detail (1/48) fanatics and in scale for the scale and 1/60 freaks. If it look right I'll get 'em, but so far M+ valks make ugly toys.

I rather get 4 of those helmets rather than one of these. I'd customize each one, even Kakizake.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. The arms clip on where the gunpods do which are the same as the DYRL valks. And to sell this seperatley wouldn't make much sense, IMO. Because the only other valk that it would go on would be Roy's. I doubt they would release Roy's Skull as a TV version, would they? All other TV fast packs would be custom like the M&M. Unless they release the CF as a TV version. It'll be interesting to see what they have planned for the VF-1J.
