I agree the ears are pretty bad and why do these designer's think that straps are necessary for all superhero costumes now. Over all I don't mind the all red look. With the ongoing nature of the show, we'll probably see different costumes down the road anyway.

A 1:60 Daedalus would be 26.5 ft long.

There's a concept art somewhere of a red suit that wasn't chosen for last season. Looked pretty good.

But it doesn't even matter compared to the storyline they're touting for this season.

They should just make a 1/60 Daedalus to ship it over with...

Also, the mask in some of those shots work better. More rounder edges. It looks like it got damaged too. I wonder if it got replaced at some point.

Looks like there's a front hatch that can be lifted up on the HMR Monster. Maybe Bandai will detail the cockpit with 3 soldiers inside.

Well, I'm thinking specifically about the crew compartment of the Glaug/Regult. A Valkyrie should be roughly the same size as a Zentran pilot so that's what got me thinking that maybe the scale was altered a little bit. Doesn't really matter, though. I'm so stoked that we're getting them at all, and they look close enough to me.

I'd prefer if they stuck to that mentality, but if you use that scale, a 1:100 HMR Regult would be the same size as the 1/60 Yamato Regult. That's the only way a 1:100 Zentran that's relatively the same height as a valkary would fit into a Regult.

It all depends on what you're remembering from.... its pretty close according to specs... Regult 15m vs VF-1 battroid 12.68m. On the episode where they pick up Hikaru, Misa, Max and Kakizaki from inside the Regult, the valkyries we're knee high to the Regult. Personally, I feel like the Hi-Metal R's are pretty good aesthetically.

The whole Transformers Jetfire thing really took the shine off the whole thing for me.. my cousin use to give me so much grief spouting crap that bcos Transformers were better than Macross (cos he always preferred TF's) and thats why they used it.. of course all nonsense i knew was crap but i still hated it anyways.

I'm not alone at my grudge against Jerfire! Luckily I ran into the 1/55s in the swap meets and cons.

I was thinking the same thing... that's a huge jump from the Glaug to the Monster's price. I was expecting for it to be a bit more but not that much. Not more than the Koenig.

There aren't any 1/48 Hasegawa kits other than in fighter mode. Gerwalk is only available in 1/72.

The Ankles on my Hikaru are massively floppy now. Max has held up but I haven't really fidgeted with him as much.

I took mine on a cross country trip... and boy are his legs tired!
