  1. i just ordered w my private proxy guy for the RVF-25... i'm still holding out on updates for otacute bc i have a vf25f on pre-order like a few on here do.

update: just paid and shipping out wed EMS! woohoo

    So you paid otacute?

  2. Damn, didn't get a chance to per-order the S parts for luca, but I did snatch the Michael S parts right before they went out at NY...! Hmm.???Wonder If they will reopen at midnight?!?

Log out of your NY account then log back in. It's glitch in their site wherein all products look like they're sold out.

  3. Just cancelled my otacute and hobbyfan preorders but kept my NY one since I paid for it as soon as I preordered which was dumb on my part so anybody still looking to purchase, keep an eye out on those two sites. Totally forgot about different preorders all coming out the same time.

  4. So, quick question. Is there some way to stiffen up the engine rotation joints? I mean, short of trying to squirt superglue in the joint and smearing it everywhere.

The engine pivots on mine literally aren't strong enough to hold up the packs. <_<

I used clear nail polish on mine.

  5. 2 Max TV versions? Do you have plans for the second TV version?

Not sure. I bought the second max thinking that ishop2go would not be able to fulfill the order. The second one is on route as we speak.

Where did you get the TV CF?

Got it here. The VF-1A CF was the first Macross toy I got as a kid. I prefer the brown feet and whiter whites to the movie version.

  6. Just bought 2 VF-1A Max TV versions, 1 VF-1A Kakizaki TV version, a VF-1S TV version with option parts, a VF-1A mass production TV version and Super and Strike parts non anniversary. Any one looking to sell a VF-1D version 2? c",)

  7. Was the crotch joint able to hold the weight? I remember i had to modify my alto a little so that it would be able to support the fast pack in battroid mode.

If you're going full crotch thrust like mine ( that didn't sound right =P ) , then yes it supports the weight. If you display your crotch vertically, then forget it.

I guess Battroid just works better with the stand huh?

Yes sir it does. Well, at least you can get it do stand with a little bit of patience and the right positioning unlike some other Kawamori designs *cough* Aquarion *cough*...

  8. Should have been more specific. The shoulder pauldrons kept popping off while changing it back to gerwalk/fighter mode. Every so often I'm able to do it without them coming off but not today. c",)

The packs make battroid mode top/back heavy just like the Alto. Needed to balance it just right so it would topple over.

  9. Funny question, for anyone who has a set already. Are the wings set permanently into a drooped position, or can they be made level?

I know the droop was shown in the take-off scene from the movie, but Macross 30 definitely had the packs mounted so the wings were level with the normal wing.

    Drooped permanently.
