AE is anime-export. An online retailer based in Japan. You can find the VF-25F at nippon-Yasan.com for still a reasonable price. They still have the VF-25G but at a mark up since it's a bit harder to find.

Ekizo Mandarake also has the VF-25F for a better price than NY. Although there aren't any 25G's at the moment, I suggest checking daily since the constantly add new inventory.

How long is a reasonable shipping time from Japan to East Coast USA via SAL? My YF-29 was shipped from Nippon-Yasan on the 26th and marked as "Dispatch from outward office of exchange" on 12/27. That was over two weeks ago and the tracking page doesn't show any other updates.

That looks like what Japan Post's tracking would say. Have you tried putting the tracking number in the USPS website? I used SAL as well which was shipped on 12-24 and I just received mine on 1-9.

Mine says it's in LA right now. Used SAL this time though since I'm not in much of a hurry to receive it. I'm assuming it should be here sometime this week just as long as there isn't a super long delay at customs like what some of us experienced with the VF-4G last year where it got stuck there for 9 days even with EMS shipping.

Around Christmas time last year LA customs slowed to a ridiculous crawl. I had to wait two weeks for one of my VF-4's. And they only shipped after I dug up the phone numbers for customs and cussed them out.

Just received payment request from NY.

It's ok guys. I think he's just used to the higher res pics that other members have been posting plus I think the first pic I posted was a little out of focus. I guess I couldn't tell right away since I used my phone (an iPhone 5 btw) to snap the pics. It's tied to my photobucket account which makes it really convenient to post pics. I could always bust out the Nikon DSLR but I find it a chore to use especially if all I wanted was to share some quick snapshots before I put the toy away. But it's all good. Let's just enjoy our new toys!

RVF-25 with super parts and ghosts!

Same here! Delivered by 9:30am. Don't have time to try it on though yet. The wifey wants to go shopping first. =)

crap! Our packages must be together cuz I got the same exact thing! Im not expecting it to arrive at all today and since tomorrow's a holiday the earliest we'll get it is Friday. So much for using FedEx.....

One thing though is that FedEx delivers pretty early for these international priority shipments. Around 9am or so. I'm glad I'm around when they do so since I work nights.

Haha! We should make a thread about wife/husband/partner's reactions when we receive our boxes if there already isn't one. Since I'm always home during normal delivery hours (I work nights) I've never have problems receiving the expensive toys from Japan but just last week my wife called in sick on the day one of my shipments was scheduled to arrive. I got the evil eye of course followed by the "You already have so many" speech. They just don't understand....

Just got the VF-25G Super Parts

NY finally shipped my super parts.

Has anyone here had there NY 25-G super parts actually ship yet? Mine went to preparing pretty fast, but I have not seen a shipping notice yet.

I was about to ask the same thing. Still in preparation in progress status.

My grand total for shipping the VF-171 CF and YF-29 anniversary came to $88 via FedEx. Ouch!

It doesn't save you money at all. Your total for shipping comes out to the same if you ordered separately which is why I do my ordering that way. What sucks though, is that even though this is the case, they won't ship the preorder which is released first even if you ask them to. It is stated in their FAQs though.
