I got my payment request from Nippon Yasan a week and a half ago - so i expected it to ship a few days later - when it didn't I e-mailed to ask when it'd be sent, they advised that it is officially released on the 28th of sept, but would ship a day or two before. So that should be today?

Should be based on all my past Mac F preorders with them. All of them were shipped either on the 27th or 28th of the month.

NY lowered my price to $383.55 shipped as well.

Ordered 2012-06-02 @ 16:53:33. Price of valk was $204.83. Shipping to San Diego,CA was $40.97.

All I know is I paid for faster shipping. That is why mine is more expensive. I have had better experience with that setup.

Ditto. I have used ECO SAL Registered with them and it only took 7 days to receive my item. Faster than I expected. Took them about 3 days after release date to ship it though.

I've ordered my VF 25 Super packs, Armor packs, YF-29 reissue, VF-171 EX all without any problems. I have the VF-25G, VF-4G and VF-171EX armor parts still on pre order with them. Although I would like the lower prices of HLJ, amiami etc, I can't wait in front of my computer for that small pre order window to open. I still have a job that needs my attention. c",)

For me none of the collecting Macross toys is really about "investing", it's the fact that the valks give me a warm feeling when I look at them on display. I really wanted this valk for a while now and am willing to pay the price for it.

For those with the armor...have you removed the any pieces to see if there are any paint scratches on your S or F?

None so far. I've been extra careful with placing the parts on though, especially on the hips.

Yeah...I'm confused myself. I'm hoping they just made a mistake, and meant to send the invoice for the YF-29 30th Anniversary I have on Pre-order with them...

Email them to verify this. I have a preorder with them for the VF-4G as well but haven't received any invoice yet. The soonest one shipping out is the VF-25G but I haven't been invoiced for that one yet either.

Did anyone else receive an invoice from Nippon-Yasan??? I thought this thing wasn't coming out until December...

Saw one for $449 shipped but you needed to pay 20% up front.

Pulled the trigger with NY as well. Just be aware that NY will cancel all your existing preorders with them if you don't pay by the specified date they send in the email they send you when they request the payment. For example, let's say you preordered the VF-25G and VF-4 on deferred payment. They then send you the invoice for the VF-25G in September and you fail to pay, both preorders get cancelled.

I made the video on the 29, i do go into fixing the pinned joint. It starts at 4:02 on my video.

EDIT: Oh wait. I still think that it's the pinned joint wherein the shoulder swings back into fighter position. Am I right, locidm? That's the problem on mine.

I don't think he fixes the "pinned" joint. All I can think of is perhaps putting a small nail or large needle into the pin hole in order to expand the pin for a tighter fit. My Alto has this problem on his left shoulder.

So they ended up coloring the crotch pieces after all? Don't we all feel dumb for worrying about this a few weeks back?

edit: Or was that on the regular Super Pack? My memory's shot...

I've just received both my armour, but why have they included TWO crotch pieces? They seems almost identical O_o...

And what's the function of the black recatangular pieces between them on the blister? I haven't figured how to use it...

The second one has a little groove. It's used with display stand in battroid mode. The black rectangular piece is to hold the legs closer in order to better hold the gunpod in fighter mode.

Give the SAL one about 2 or 3 days. They know it's no rush. Hehe!

Personally, I like it in fighter mode. Reminds me of the fighters from the Gradius or R-Type games from the 80's.

Screw canon, just do it. If anyone busts your chops about it, tell them to piss off; we're not dressing barbies here, these are military planes! lol

Wondering if you were successful OzmaLee74? I put a coat of clear nail polish over the plastic part of the ball joint last night and reassembled it. Today I transformed it to batteroid with the same results....... I may have to give it a few coats. It's like a night and day difference from my Alto. When I opened up the section that hold the ball joints nothing looked wrong. I almost wonder if I can fit something under the tiny piece that comes out of the intake to raise it a bit, which should grip the ball joint better. Will be a mighty hard task to accomplish though as the parts are small.

I haven't had a chance to do it yet because of the biggest distraction to us collectors.....work. c",) Just saw your post about the nail polish working. Glad you got great results! I think I'm going to try your solution instead of putting whatever material in with the ball joint.
