Mine's have good ankle, and I think on average it should be good too, as that ball inside the joint is really.... big.... And a small advice for you guys, pull off the tail fins on the legs before you transform the fins or extend the ankle parts, that ankle is really hard to push in or pull out Have fun with your bird

Neither in Guld's blue This bird has the stiffest joints, er... maybe except the rotation knee joint, comes with plenty of pointy edges and locking tricks that made this bird a bit harder to transform than a VF1, you have to figure how to safely pull out this thing, unlock here and there The ankle now comes with a large metal ball joint that is stiff enough to hold not even the body's weight, so do think they are design this for withstand the weight for the armor pack. Many small details add points to this bird, pre printed cockpits, better painted pilots, small locking slots etc... so looking forward for the 0S and armor pack I should leave the posing fun for all you other owners of this beautiful bird

I have both the yamato and arcadia YF 19, I still think YF 19 is arcadia's best bird to date, and it best resemble the Macross Plus design This VF 19 advance is another re-engineered YF19 in Macross F universe, different bird under same series, but seems not much official design out there except the fighter mode we can see in the movie. And I don't think the bandai's angled leg with fast packs was mis tranformed, as the shoulder super parts did lock to the back of the legs just like the YF19s with fast packs on.... actually bandai can have the leg fast pack extended to the wing tab position and fill the little gap just like the arcadia, maybe they just want that leg armor look better in bettroid mode, for fitting the more slim legs design. But what happend to that gun? Looks like its gonna dropped like a bomb ;P

The leg had open space for fitting the arms, but that also needs to fit for the different leg positions with /without super parts, looks quite challenging for making every piece lock in place for the 2 fighter modes. Both battroid and fighter looks promising, hopes bandai engineered it right

With super parts mounted, the legs will be angled down a bit in fighter mode, but looks like bandai decided to not have socket on the foot super parts for the wing tab lock like the yamato / arcadia, will it secure enough to hold the things in place just by the shoulder super parts? The yamato just cannot hold them in secure manner
