  1. It's always gonna be hit and miss with yamato toys, I have a first release VF-0S and it's perfect, no problems at all, I also have a first release SV-51(the black one), and it's also miraculously perfect. Old molds, new molds, poo happens they're fairly intricate plastic toys, there will be mess ups.

  2. no they're not.

the original hikaru 1a had one wing flap that liked to fall off and the nose cone didn't have rails to help hold it in place. These issues were addressed with 1a max and on.

Later releases like the max and milia 1j super set had noticeable fit and seam issues due to the mold degradation.

They all still transform the same, look the same, same proportions and size, those are all just tiny little fixes, they didn't change the figures overall.

  3. I officially will never order from HLJ ever again. I tracked my package earlier, it was scheduled for tomorrow but you know I got anxious, it says delivery attempted today at 8am, delivery failed due to incorrect address. I call fedex, it turns out HLJ sent my package with just my city, state, zip code, my name, and the word office on it, though my email shipping confirmation has my entire address and even more importantly my god damn apartment numbers on it! I have no idea what they were thinking but for how much I paid this is completely unprofessional and easily one of the biggest most idiotic blunders it has ever been my misfortune of being involved in.

  4. Just got my second 1/60, the VF-1D was a steal and there was no possible way I could pass it, revoltechs were on sale as well, 02 the beast and batman pre-order!

  5. I really have no idea why we're comparing a 1/60 v2 to the new hi-metal, obviously the v2 should win in every area it costs nearly twice as much and has a bigger scale for more detail. The hi-metal should be compared to things in it's size and I guess relative price range, namely toynami 1/100 or revies, which this is a win over those in from what I see every area.

  6. Well, I think it comes to about the same, considering it's local (if you're in the US).

Exactly, buying from a Hong Kong site with shipping included was more expensive then tisinc99, for only this situation really everything else is overpriced on their site.

  7. Jeeze, I just checked out that site. It's crazy expensive. Angloz, overdrive, amiami, and hlj alway seem to have some good deals, but that place was preicy across the board.

Over-drive,HLJ, amiami, those are all goods sites for most yamato stuff they all supplied me with my 1/48's, but I already calculated total shipping from them and the price, it was cheaper to buy from tisinc99 overall with shipping included. For the most part tisinc99 is over-priced due to being right here in the states, but the TV Roy was a steal overall.
